On my 2014 gt it came with a 4.35 pulley on the p1x.
That was good for 7-8psi
Recently switched to a 4.11 now around 10-11.
Sounds minimal but it woke the car up in the midrange
Also just running 95lb/1000cc DWs
Well...first you gotta get rid of that now useless bracket on the back of the 18 manifold.
Next the 4 pin holes almost line up(width wise) so you need something to lift the manifold up ant an inch and be able slightly bend.
I used some leftover chopped up 3/8 hose and zip ties. Then I...
I wish I had gotten it dynod before the manifold and then after but it felt good back then and I wasn't really concerned.
However that Dyno graph does explain what I felt after I put the manifold on. It definitely just keeps pulling up top. I didn't really notice anything else in the RPM band.
Thanks.
I was able to get a 7.68@95 in the 1/8th mile on the same 20" tires I drive on.
2.0 60fts leaving in 2nd gear. I'm sure with that mile per hour it would do a 6 something on a drag tire but I've done that before and I'm over that.
Installed the complete kit in January. Drove on Procharger tune about a month. About the best I can say about that tune was that it started right up and it drove but definitely not as good as I was hoping(bad fuel economy/questionable shifts).
Palm beach dyno Rob shoemaker tune woke car up and...
Cool... I think all the hype and back order is kind of going away so I'll try to pick one up for about 250 bucks.
I think it's hilarious people buying these manifolds from speed shops or performance shops for over $300 and you can get the things straight from your Ford dealer for 250. Lmao
Bill... What are your thoughts on a ported 2018 manifold? And now that you've had yours on for a while do you feel a tune revision is actually necessary?
Funny.....i did the autocross thing with my 02 2valve. No power but full maximum motorsports suspension.
Nothing is wrong with it besides that grinding 3rd gear but it just sits in the garage until I can figure out what I really want to do with the car.
Realistically I'd like to drop a built...
No boss manifold for me....still on stock 11-14. But with that 2018 getting rave reviews and Bill approving it... It's hard not to spend the 250 bucks for 40ish whp.
I'm just a guy in my 40s that drives to work Monday through Friday so any horsepower over stock is pretty useless for me... But...
Hope the valance works out for you. If I get bored I may try again....but I doubt it.
Beating on it I get 17-18mpg.....but mostly get 20-21. We've gone on trips before and got 23-24.
So I doubt there is much measurable wind resistance.
Oh... Just remembering you asked about the lower Valance.
I left mine off for a week or so and then tried to put it on and it would actually go on but you really had to cram it in there and probably have to cut just a small hole on the driver side and I just said **** it and left it off.
You...
So far so good driving with mine... I've been driving it everyday and I've been seeing 7 and 1/2 to 8 pounds of boost at Redline and it's doing okay.
I did end up going back under the car on the intercooler outlet and reshaping that rubber 90 degree fitting to where it fits much much better...
