    550 - ??? - 750 RWHP Bolt on Range

Lund told me they expected 650-700 with my setup. I told them it made 564 and he sent me another tune with more timing and leaned it up a little. It's possible the guys dyno is reading low I suppose, however it's a dynojet and less than a year old. I was disappointed to here 564. It seems like...

    550 - ??? - 750 RWHP Bolt on Range

I am well aware. After the tune update I'm willing to bet its above 600whp, but I won't be running it on the dyno again until I have the TB upgraded

    550 - ??? - 750 RWHP Bolt on Range

If you want under 600hp just leave the stock TB. I took on a 2010 GT500 that was unfinished. It has a stock throttle body even though it has a 2.9L whipple. 3.25 pulley, 1050id injectors, BAP and PMAS cai with a Lund tune. I dynoed it yesterday on a dynojet at sealevel and 65 degree air temp. It...

    2010 GT500 low rpm issues

It had a bad o2 sensor but the main issue is tuning. It still bucks but mainly when it's cold. It's far better than it was and now that Im used it a lot it's not really a big issue. I'm ready to tune it and want to monitor AFR and fuel pressure so i can sleep at night

pros and cons of your local lube shop

Fingerprints and smudges drive me crazy on my own vehicles, so I am extremely careful, which is why me and my employee wear gloves anytime we touch anything remotely dirty. (I put them on to open the shop doors even) that way when it comes time to move a customer vehicle or reset the oil life...

pros and cons of your local lube shop

I just read this. That is unbelievable. I keep hearing horror stories about a shop not too far from me, but nothing this bad.

pros and cons of your local lube shop

Awesome! Thanks for the reply! We have been running for a few months now and I take pride in doing it correctly. I agree 100% with what you said. I only have one other guy and he is my lube tech. I do the repairs and help him and he helps me when I need it. He's perfectly capable of smaller...

pros and cons of your local lube shop

So I'm pretty new to this forum. I've spent many years in the fox body realm and have had the same 79 cobra for 11 years which i built from a bare chassis. I am a diesel mechanic by heart but recently fell into the position of running a lube and repair shop that works on cars, pickups, RVs and...

    2010 GT500 low rpm issues

I missed your second reply. I won't be visiting them I promise that. They did say a few things that make more sense now. "the previous owner got all mad about something and didn't come back. He didn't want to get a new TB for some reason". "You should upgrade that PMAS to a JLT because those...

    2010 GT500 low rpm issues

and the right man appears! thanks for the info. That will help tremendously. They told me I should swap to a JLT and a larger TB. I wouldn't expect you to give me that stuff for free lol. But I would like to get it. Any idea what you want for the tuner and gauges?

    2010 GT500 low rpm issues

Okay. I will call the dealer and see what they installed. What should I run for plugs? Would a new TB make a big difference or should I just get a tune and call it a day?

    2010 GT500 low rpm issues

OK so I'm not wrong for thinking that was weird? Maybe I misunderstood him. I had people distracting me (doing it at work) so maybe I heard wrong but he said they wired in the wideband and I thought he said they wired it to the ecm which I thought was odd. He did say theres a plug behind the...

    2010 GT500 low rpm issues

They called back. It has a wideband wired into the ECU. They said the previous owner left the stock TB and they recommended he upgrade to a VMP 67mm but he didn't want to spend the money. They said because of the stock TB, it has drivability problems and they can be solved with a TB and tune.

    2010 GT500 low rpm issues

I'm waiting for a call back from the dyno shop. I had a hard time following the wires from up top. Ill drive it over the pit in a few and see if I can find where the plug is. the CAI is a PMAS. but it looks like the MAF is stock. pulley is a 3.250. whipple is a 2.9

    2010 GT500 low rpm issues

Do they make custom tunes without being on a dyno? I'm not familiar with tuning on newer boosted gas engines. I am very familiar with diesel programmers though (SCT x4, livewire, edge etc)

    2010 GT500 low rpm issues

I'll give them a call right now. No flash tool. No aftermarket gauges. My salesman told me he would try to get more info from him when he comes back to work. he has today off. according to TMS performance's facebook page, they tuned it with syked ECU tuning software. Ill report back in a few...

    2010 GT500 low rpm issues

so far what I found is: whipple 2.9, ID1050x inectors, what I believe is the stock maf sensor in a CAI tube (4g7v-12b79-aa) , kenne bell BAP, long tube kooks, high flow cats, H-pipe etc. wideband 02 (found where someone welded in an extra bung and theres an O2 sensor in it. harness runs up and...
