Sounds like I'll be going with BBK ceramic headers and BBK H pipe. Anyone have a video of a. BBK lth with BBK o/r H or BBK catted H with slp lm1. Not sure if I wanted o/r or catted H yet. Depends on if the o/r H is raspy or not.

just looking at price differences at the moment and doing research. the MAC's are 494. the BBK i would want ceramic coated and they're 600.

Now a quick question for you guys, is there a way of telling if you have upgraded gears already?

So to wake this back up, i've been doing some research and it looks like back in 03-05 MAC had issues with toasting some motors because of weld slag in their Long tube headers. Has this been fixed? every review I see now gives them 5 stars, I would hope in the span of 12-14 years they would have...

I'm glad you said this since I want to gain that extra power feel, but I didnt want to lose my 5th gear fuel economy since I live in Florida, everything is highway driving.

I am extremly glad hearing these numbers, shows how well built these motors are.

98 Cobra with 122k miles. original motor and trans.

Thanks for the heads up, I guess I'll have to take a look at it when I get the csr back from the body shop and see if I will do it or if I will send it to a shop.

I left all my stuff to pull a motor back in New York, Ive never pulled this motor or tranny either so I'm not sure how long it would take or what's involved I've done it plenty of times on my e36 m3's though. I just want to do some preventative mods other than anything at this point.

Has anyone ever done the head cooling mod, without dropping the transmission?
