Yeah, gotta admit, they are all too similar. No real interesting plots or relationships.... mainly loads of CGI fighting scenes. Truly gets boring after a few movies.
The whole 'cars & coffee' thing is absolutely no comparison to the 'good old days', haha. When I go to one of those C&C, the rules always state NO BURNOUTS and NO REVVING ENGINES.... oh, ok, they just ruined all the fun. BUT I totally understand it. There are countless YouTube videos showing...
Glad I lived through the heyday of muscle cars. Back in the 70's, it was ALL about street racing. Hangin' out in the shopping centers with hundreds of hot rods and muscle cars. Races to be had at the drop of a hat. The cops NEVER bothered us. Every night was like the 'American Graffiti' movie...
Thanks, I looked at the page. If I wanted to get into the actual tuning, I might try to learn all the stuff. But one thing I have learned in the little bit of tuning I have done; it's remarkably easy to F things up when you don't know what you're doing, lol
Yes, thanks, I should have included that info. All tunes are custom, varied for max power and emissions. The max power tuner is unknown to me, and the emissions tuner does not respond anymore to emails or calls, so I am up shit creek without a paddle.
These are all great tunes, especially the...
I have three tunes on my SCT X4. If this handheld tuner fails (which they do, I had SCT X3 die on me), then I lose my three tunes, which is a major disaster.
How the heck can I make emergency backup copies of the tunes? I already know I can't make backup copies to my computer, I had asked the...
I think it was $200, and I gave him $250 cause it was so nice. Actually, it probably took him just over an hour. He was like a magician with all those tools, and he must have had HUNDREDS of the tools in his van, lol.
I had a PDR guy remove a hood dent from my Cadillac Escalade EXT last year. He did it in my garage while we chatted, took him maybe two hours. I was blown away, it came out perfect. The local body shop wanted to patch and paint the whole hood.
Local public sector unions are damn powerful. They usually get whatever they want, in terms of increased numbers of employees, salary increases, more time off, benefits up the ying-yang, etc, etc. All of that costs MONEY, and lots of it... and virtually all of it comes from property taxes.
I have not yet figured out the exact issue. I am awaiting delivery of a new valve spring removal tool, the one I bought recently just will not work. I have everything off except the valve springs. I bought a valve spring tester just so I can verify every spring is good. Plus I have new valve...
Thanks, I'm 99% certain it was engine noise.... a light noise though, not something like a rod knock..... but you never know.
I've got the timing cover and chains off. About ready to remove the cams, then will check each rocker and valve spring. I guess I am likely stuck with removing the valve...
Car is 2010 supercharged Roush, 4.6L 3V, 24psi boost, 625rwhp. Earlier this season, I went for a ride and noticed an engine noise. When I revved the engine a little bit, it sounded like a loose timing chain was rubbing against something, so I immediately suspected a broken chain guide.
So I...
Never mind, I found the answer at Ford Parts Giant:
"3R2Z-6A257-DA fits your vehicle.
Left and right use the same part number.

RE: Cam phaser Ford part #: 3R2Z-6A257-DA
Does this cam phaser fit both Right & Left? The web site at Tasca Ford says it is for LH (driver side), but I have seen other info indicating this phaser will work for both sides. My engine is 2010 4.6L 3V.
Can someone kindly clarify? Thanks
I already have a Metco pulley-swap kit installed, but mine is on the snout of the 2.3L S/C. I'm making 23 lbs of boost, so I don't need any more, haha.
I just want a new bearing on that main drive pulley. But I got a lead from the first post there - Big Dog Motorcycles. Plus, good info at Post...
My car (2010 Roush 'Hammer' 540RH) uses the Ford 03-04 Cobra 4.6L DOHC Crankshaft Pulley Extension: 2R3V-6C254. It is shown circled in Pic #1. (pic rotations messed up, apologies, I can't seem to fix them here)
I am doing timing chains and guides on this engine, and while I'm at it, I want to...
Ahh, I remember the days (20 years ago) of working at a major company in Chicago, where we all HAD to use Apple hardware and software, even such things as printers. Everything was wickedly over-priced, but no matter. The big boss said 'Apple' and we used it all.... and it sucked... I honestly...
2010 Roush 'Hammer' Supercharged 4.6L 3V - driving along, engine is making a rattling noise. I hear it mostly when driving next to a wall or something that reflects the sound back to me. It is a light noise, sounds kinda like it might be a idler puller or something like that. I am tearing off...
I'm getting worried about my modest portfolio, mostly Canadian bank stocks. They've been good and pay decent dividends, but I'd like to diversify more.
However, I know enough to know that I need advice. Can you guys recommend any stock advisor services that you are using? I'd like something...
Yeah, well stated. If you buy a stock Mustang, it's likely gonna be smooth and comfy, with very low NVH. But every single mod typically increases NVH somewhat, and the cumulative effect can get quite annoying, but that's the price we pay.
2010 Roush, RXT twin-disc, Magnum XL and built 4.6L. I can get smooth take-off from start, but only with PERFECT rpm's and clutch release, otherwise I get chatter. Also, if I lug my engine at all, I too get the 'box of rocks'.
