Ok so I implemented your equation and it came out like this
(.5*11.179)-20.288 = -14psi
(1.81*11.179)-20.288 = 0.05401psi
(4.5*11.179)-20.288 = 30.0175psi
which seems to be perfect and nobody else has been able to help me out to that extent. Thank youuu
No worrys Nate I was just as confused if not then more confused then you were, but it looks like Black02GT is clearing stuff up, So after a year or more of trying to figure this out I made a slight breakthrough
I tried your formula and this is what I came up with
(.5*.0895)+1.8148 = 1.85955
(1.81*.0895)+1.8148 = 1.976795
(4.5*.0895)+1.8148 = 2.21755
although I don't think your equation was meant for voltage I think your Y=PSI maybe you could help me a little further to understand your math and work out...
what do you what do you mean by the OP tricking me? but I'm going to try that equation out that you gave me and see how it works
But yeah I realized it was -30 inches of mercury but I didn't even think of converting inhg in to psi that should be very helpful. Thanx so much
I've been trying...
Ok I have been trying to come up with a formula for my boost sensor for months now. I have an electronic boost/vac gauge from speedhut which comes with a 3 bar boost sensor. The gauges range 30InHG to 10psi. The sensor actually has a linear pressure-voltage relationship and is as follows:
-30-30...
a single turbo setup on a twin Bank engine? I'm not really about that. And you can control Boost from the blower on a compound boost setup it'll basically be your low end power that your controlling and the blower doesn't really become a restriction. On a roots style positive displacement blower...
Sorry to wake up a long dead thread but i was actually curious to see if anybody had in fact installed a BOV vented to atmosphere on their eaton setups when i came across this thread. But anyways if you guys are really deadset on installing a BOV and keeping the real nice wine of say a Stage 8...
I have sniper commando and an 01 cobra. I currently have a P0231 which is open circuit from the PCM to the FPDM. I have a return fuel system and it is connected directly to the battery so the FPDM sees no fuel pump and the PCM doesn't see any B+ circuit voltage. I was thinkin about installing a...
Well I was in the process of doing that so I go and reset my KAM with my Livewire TS and go to let it warm up cause I don't move my cars until the warm up but especially my mustang, it doesn't like to move when its cold but anyways I reset my kam and once it was warmed up it was idling just...
With regards to my idle staying at 1100 while not moving and staying between 15 and 1800 while rolling what should I do should I adjust ISC duty cycle 4 neutral and drive or is there something else I can do because my idle is set at like 850 but it doesn't want to come down to that. It's idling...
So now tht I've adjusted my maf transfer I gotta go bak and adjust fuel spark air/fuel etc but I wanna get my idle dialed in more and then I'll go do all that granted that's the right way to be doing it. If you guys think different let me know. I am a Ford technician and I can turn wrenches like...
Hey guys thanx fort all your input sofar it is greatly appreciated especially you Pro60modman. I have access to both the advantage 3 software and the sniper commando software which I kinda like better. Sofar wat I have done is calculate the difference in area between my old sct maf housing...
Its a well built short block, the only think still stock is the cylinder heads and they have been rebuilt and ported, 32cfm over stock.
And yes I do have a wideband 02 sensor as well.
Why should I install a screen in front of the MAF
Hello
I have an 01 cobra with an eaton swap and I feel my tuner doesn't really take the time to get the car right he just tries to make as much power out of it safely. I have a Steigmeir Stage 8 port with dragon port matched plenum and dragon throttle body with Venom cooler and a 10 pound lower...
