    2018 intake manifold on 14 s197

Did you do anything else to the engine to help support the higher speeds? Or is everything else in the engine stock? Exhaust also stock? I’m a little surprised if the stock valvetrain and other components support a 7500+ RPM peak power speed with just an intake manifold change. Thanks...

Driver Side Seat Won't Go Backwards

This is a common problem on the 2011’s. In most cases, it’s the motor in the seat. The glue that holds the magnets to the case fails, and the magnets detach. The previous owner of my 2011 had this problem on the passenger seat in my car. I’m praying the drivers side doesn’t fail. The official...

    WTF Is This Thing For??

It’s the tab that’s in front of the wheel, right? It’s an aerodynamic aid. Worth a tiny fraction of an MPG at highway speed. It’s the kind of thing that auto companies have had to do to meet fuel economy regs. If you look under modern cars, you’ll see that many have these little tabs. Somehow...

    2011-2014 Engine Tick

My car is a very early 2011 (March 2010 build date), and so far it does not have the infamous tick. If you read the internet too much, you will think that every Coyote ticks. Not true. PS it has 78k miles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Cooling fan issue

I spent some time listening to my 2011 GT last night. When the cooling fan kicks on, I can hear my engine speed drop a tiny bit. The tach barely moves, maybe drops 50 RPM. If you are seeing a 300 RPM drop, something is wrong, I think. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Cooling fan issue

How much does the engine bog down? Like a hundred RPM? I’ve seen this happen on the cars I’ve owned that had large cooling fans. When the fan kicks on, there is a huge inrush of current required to start the motor. When that happens, the alternator goes to full output and drags the engine down...
