    Wiring a Wideband to a SCTx4

I'd have to look back at what I did it's been a while, I just dug out an old USB 2.0 cable from my junk box and cut one end off and wired the other end into my setup. I used a tester to test my voltages and grounds, the wire colors did match up to what was stated above, one signal, two grounds...

Which wideband did you use for SCT X4

Not the answer your requesting, but I ended up using the PLX device. (SM-AFR Wideband + MultiGauge Link Combo (Gen5)) It uses the newest Bosch LSU4.9 sensor. And hooks wireless to my I-Phone or I-pad for AFR Gauge, really slick and works nicely, and best of all I do not have to have a permanent...

Line Lock / launch control kit

Is the ABS delete necessary? I've read a few accounts of people not doing that and not having any issues. Of the few kits I've looked at a few mentioned doing something with ABS a few said nothing about it.

Line Lock / launch control kit

Sorry my bad, I want to lock the front wheels, not the back, just as they are designed to be used (or most people use them). My wording was not the best, in fact, it sucked!! Bending from a pattern makes since, are you using a bender, or just bend around something circular or close to it?

Line Lock / launch control kit

Looking to put a rear brake Line Lock kit, or Staging Kit on the 03 cobra, What is the most bang for the buck? Do I need a whole kit or are the lines easy to bend and work with from a generic kit? Any advice would be appreciated.

Just installed new PLX Devices AFR WideBand sensor, pretty cool, so far

You can buy direct or they sell on EBay you can just google search PLX Wideband. I really like it, just throw the old IPhone on a phone holder and I have the gauge when I want it. I had an issue, all my fault for not paying attention, they (PLX) were very helpful and quick, I actually just...

Going back to stock mid pipe?

I can tell you from my setup which is in the ball park of yours. I have an 03, with stock header, 2.5" bassani highflow cats, 2.5" bassani X pipe, and 2.5" Magnaflow cat back (model 15644) the car is pretty quite, and I really like the sound, deep but not raspy. It had until about 2 weeks ago...

    Wiring a Wideband to a SCTx4

Not only is the formula (v*2)+10 now dead on with my gauge, but there is a setting for "PLX" on the SCTx4 that needs no formula and matches my gauge perfectly for my data logging to the laptop, no formula needed! Wow, I'm going to blame this one on the Barrett Jackson Auto auction, I had it on...

    Wiring a Wideband to a SCTx4

I'm an idiot, thanks guys, but I do believe I have found my issue, and the problem is me being stupid, I'm in volt stead 3.3 for powering my WiFi on my PLX box, not the Wideband pin-out!! I will move my signal wire 3mm tonight and hopefully have a dead on reading for my logger. Of course it...

Bought a 03 with a few of issues

I just got my 03 back together from new rear bushings, Ford Racing diff cover, did fuel filter as well, even though it only had 2000 miles on it. Also upgraded to 14mm bolts on front and the pan head bolts on the rear of the IRS cradle attachment points. All fresh in my mind if you have a...

    Wiring a Wideband to a SCTx4

Already did contact PLX, they've been good about getting back to me, so far, I have checked with a Fluke DMM and my voltage is a dead match. I'm still waiting to hear from PLX. I installed the bung and wideband exactly as the directions stated, the readings on the IPhone are reasonable, other...

    Wiring a Wideband to a SCTx4

That is exactly what I have and the instructions I followed, but that formula puts me at an AFR of 16.52 at idle, now, that formula plus 8 puts me dead on where my gauge was reading.

    Wiring a Wideband to a SCTx4

Wideband: PLX Devices SM-AFR Air/Fuel Ratio UEGO Wideband Oxygen O2 Sensor + MultiGauge Link Combo with Bosch LSU4.9 O2 Sensor They've been pretty good about responding to me, I will shoot them an e-mail.

    Wiring a Wideband to a SCTx4

Ok, I did get it to signal to the SCT last night, but I can't find a canned equation that matches my wideband gauge in the SCTx4. But, if I put in raw voltage it was 3.26v compared to my gauge at 14.5-AFR, Is the equation linier? Is it that simple or no? 14.51afr / 3.26v=4.45 therefore...

    Wiring a Wideband to a SCTx4

I've seen this diagram which does not exactly match what SCT says to do, in my case I'm only needing one input, which in theory would only be one wire, assuming the system is grounding through the ODB2 port already, but, this one does show a second ground for the analog port, ??? I'm going to...

    Wiring a Wideband to a SCTx4

Maybe one of you geniuses can help me here. I'm trying to wire in my Wideband for AFR into my SCTx4 tuner. I have followed the directions from their website, and tried a few other things, from SCT, but I get no reading on my X4. I will not go into great detail other than the basic...

AFR help, Wideband now installed, am I too lean??

"That's the beauty of "remote" tuning" Well, that is why I bought the SCTx4 with free custom tunes for life. But, I'm running into strange issues, they are trying, and keep sending and adjusting my tunes; I ask one person and I get "oh yah BAMA is great" and the very next person says "Remote...

AFR help, Wideband now installed, am I too lean??

I do not disagree, my issue is the nearest tuner I've found to me is almost 2 hour drive and would keep the car for 5-hours to 2 days. Major PIA. But, the that inconvenience is minor compared to the cost of a new motor or major repairs :-(

Just installed new PLX Devices AFR WideBand sensor, pretty cool, so far

That is pretty slick, I like that setup; I have 2 IPhone 6's in the car now, both are "bad" drop calls, no VM, etc. but our phones are always cased so they look new, they are free, they hold a charge pretty good, and the BT and WiFi on them work fine. I usually send them off to recycle and get...

AFR help, Wideband now installed, am I too lean??

Thanks fellows, and that is exactly what I was thinking as well, the only difference is I went from a 2" cat back flowmaster to a 2.5" cat back magnaflow, not sure if that could have made a 1 point difference or not, when I had BAMA do the tune, I told them to error on "safe"; but obviously it's...

AFR help, Wideband now installed, am I too lean??

03 cobra, high flow cats, cat back 2.5 magnaflow, 2.76 pulley, CAI, SCTx4 tuner with bama tune. Cruising AFR 14.5-14.7 from 30 mph to 75 on interstate. WOT: starts around 13.8 and creeps down to 13.4 up to 6500 rpm. Am I too lean on top? I prefer safe over a few HP. Thanks

Just installed new PLX Devices AFR WideBand sensor, pretty cool, so far

Just got the 03 cobra back together, did all my projects I've been putting off until it was -5 outside and nothing else to do at night, started on these projects right after Christmas. Dropped rear cradle IRS, put new poly bushings in, what a pain-until you figure out the tricks, installed new...

WideBand wifi or bluetooth anyone ever try one

Looking at: PLX SM-AFR Wideband + Multigauge Link Combo I've been wanting to put a wideband in the 03 cobra since I bought it, but, I'm not a fan of all the aftermarket gauges, not knocking them for all others, just not my style. So with this thing; I slap the old smart phone on the suction cup...
