Switched to a 305/35720 nitto 555r and it does rub the fender whenever I hit a bump. Traction is better but the front end is still way too tight. I also removed the front sway bar. Any suggestions to really loosen up the front for better transfer??
Need the back tight and the front lose so what springs or spring strut combo is anyone using to loosen up the front? I had a couple people who have some pretty fast cars take a look at it, and while their cars are fox bodies and older cars they said the front end is WAY too tight..
We'll when you go from a 8 inch wide tire to a 10.5 inch wide tire of a softer rubber obviously that wasn't detrimental to traction. The problem is in the suspension. It no longer transfers at all really.
That's a big part of it is it isn't transferring The front end is way too tight which I'm Suprised with these springs. Was thinking some lakewood 70/30 struts may help
Tires are more then adequate. I had nitto street tires on the same size wheel before on my 11 gt and it hooked up way better. These tires are much stickier on a car making much less power. That car was on stock springs though. It actually transfered.
Both times tried calling no answer and voicemail is full. Will try again tomorrow if open. I'd think the relocation brackets should correct the pinion angle from lowering
As stated tires way softer. The springs do seem really stiff. Supposed to be a drag spring but also good for street . Guess that's a false advertisement ..
So my car is a 14 gt m6 pretty much stock with off road X-pipe and corsa extremes. I installed the BMR Performance springs which are supposed to be a balance of a drag spring and daily spring. Also installed adjustable panhard bar and LCA relocation brackets along with some Rovos Durban wheels...
Went ahead and ordered the airaid. Got one "used" but never actually installed for a hundred bucks shipped online. Not sure where to find the Ford sticker tho? Apparently there used to be a perfect sized decal LMR used to sell but shows unavailable, no longer for sale on their site now.
My next...
Now that, is very interesting . I didn't even know such a filter existed! So there's a benifit to the different filter shape?
Also, that was what I was going to look into was just replacing the tubing itself. I know air raid used to make just the tube on another vehicle I had. So someone makes...
I have a few questions about installing one on my 14. I had a S550 I was going to install on but recently came back to the S197. When I had my last s197 it was a 2011 and at that time the consensus was the factory cold air induction was very efficient. My question is, do I or would want an...
So, if i have them removed will the car run fine on the stock calibration? I have a local exhast shop that can remove them for a fraction of the cost of the mak deletes and am contemplating doing it. I will tune eventually but currently collecting a few parts and will install all at once...
