Don't mean to bring up an old thread, but have you decided yet? I am in the same dilemma and would also like a fuel system that doesn't require to much matainance.
I did think about shipping, however unless I know the car was well taken car of or was inspected by someone I trust its a little hard to justify buying something I haven't looked at in person.

Thanks for the advice, I'll have to check out autotrader and see if anything pops up. The terminator market has been funny lately.

I to am looking to get into a terminator this year, however the inflated prices and limited availablitilty are driving me away. I know I may have to travel to buy one but finding one with 60-80k miles at around 23 to 25k thats in reasonable shape and is a reasonable driving distance is...
Looks like I'll be going to lapeer or us131 this year if I have the time. People are always on woodward every Saturday especially during the summer months.

Most aftermarket websites have unfortunately taken anything with "off road use" off of their shelves. And many manufacturers are discontinuing them aswell.

Yeah this is going to be a tough find. Mainly because it requires permanent modification to the bumper and I would venture to guess most people aren't just going to take off the part and sell it after all that cutting. Hopefully something pops up though. And yeah the tru fiber part doesn't have...
Also trufiber sells a lower grille insert. I don't t think you have to hack up the bumper as much as the roush kit but you still need to cut open the grille center mesh.

If I'm reading this correctly all your wanting to do is lower the rear to get rid of the rack. If this is the case another option would be to buy some ride height adjusters. Steeda, revan racing, maximum motorsports, bps, and upr sells them. They are an adjustable perch similar to what you'll...
If memory serves me.. its the 3l2e-6015-cc that you're looking for. This is the nemak block as referred to above that is highly regarded.

5.4s have a taller deck height of 10.079 inches from crank centerline to top of the deck and 4.6s have a 8.937 inch deck height . Stock stroke in a 4.6 is 3.543 inches and 5.4s use a 4.165 inch stroke.

Your first question will depend on the tuner and how your data logs look but if your plan is to eventually run e85 i would save, as it would be in your best interest to save on a return style fuel system. Many say they have gotten away with running a dw400 and bap but most reputable tuners will...
So, just wanted to post an update on the car. Got the steeda ride height adjusters installed right pic is stock and the left is with them on. They are 10 in 150 lb springs in the rear only. The reason for this is because the car initially had an obnoxious rake where the rear was significantly...
The whipple is a stellar kit for sure. If your goals are 650 rwhp then any kit is capable of that. Its going to mostly depend on how you like the power to come in at. Tvs' hit hard down low while centrifugals pull hard up top and Whipple superchargers have just about the best of both worlds...
Thats cool, I'm sure once the weather cools down a bit(hopefully) you'll reach your goal. I might head down to Milan one day and just be a spectator as my car isn't quite sorted out. Still want to do some tires and suspension first. You got t56 magnum right? If so I'll definitely try to make it...
I read somewhere that someone asked a manufacture if they would be willing to produce a 4:30 for the super 8.8 and they said if they had a certain number of pre orders they would. In my opinion, the 4.30 and 4.56 on a 28" tall tire would be ideal for the tr3160 and d4-mt82 transmission ratios...
To make 800+ on pump gas and stay within modern emissions standards while having good durability and good street manners is no easy feet. Let's not forget that the moment you start adding power to the gt500 the cats really need to come off. I'm sure that would be an easy fix though

Agreed, the lack of a drag option from ford is certainly frustrating. The current round of sub models in the s550 line up are plagued with track capable cars. Nothing wrong with one every once in a while, however making every model track focused is abit played out and redundant at this point...
That's what people are afraid of.(the whole just buy a gt350 thing again)..... ok dont mind if I do lol. But looking at this seriously, if I were to get a gt350 used gt350s are like low 40s to low 50s right now. Plus they arent making gt350s any more so it's irrelevant in regards to the 2021...
I dont think that's really the case, people were looking for more separation between engine options that's all. The mach 1 should of had the necessary engine upgrades to make a certain group of buyers walk right past the current gt option and right into the mach. The current bullitt option isnt...
