    Block advice please

Another option is a Boss 302 short block. Just installed one in my car. The pistons are the weak link in the S550 short block. The Boss has forged pistons.

Launching on the street with 800hp

I start in 2nd gear on the street. OTOH nothing hooks very well on the street. It all depends on the surface of asphalt. Concrete is much better.

Would anyone benefit from a Sai Li Install write-up?

Guys here's an FYI. That is a GT350 pump, not a GT500. It flows a good bit less than the GT500 pump. It also costs him $316 less than the GT500 pump.

Anyone ever run DW 88lb Injectors?

I have 95# DWs in my car. Drives like stock. A couple of well know tuners will not tune a car with DW injectors - PBD and AED. I wonder why. Makes no sense as DW posts the tuning info on their website. VMP has no issues tuning them.

My take on injectors for boosted 2011-17 GT applications

I run DW 95#/1,000cc injectors in my car. Car drives like stock. I refuse to buy anything with MAP pricing like Injector Dynamics uses.

UPR catch can system or breathers

I run a breather on the driver's side and a restrictive PCV valve on the passenger side. Zero oil in blower.

E85 fuel system requirements for supercharged mustang.

I wonder if this will fit in a 2011-2014? https://lmr.com/item/LRS-9350K/Walbro-400LPH-Fuel-Pump-Module-Mustang-2010

What happened to the On3 SINGLE turbo kit for Coyote's?

And just what are you running John? Could it be a TVS? lol

E85 fuel system requirements for supercharged mustang.

You "can" if the planets align. I have 1,000cc DW injectors, 82mm pulley and a JMS BAP. I had enough fuel on E70-E80. Ran out when it hit E90. STFTs were not happy with E90. My car trapped the same MPH with a 72mm pulley and 93 plus Torco as it did on E80. Torco brought the octane up to around...

What happened to the On3 SINGLE turbo kit for Coyote's?

There is an old saying that is always true = you get what you pay for. CPR sources their turbo units from a company about 10 miles from where I live. They make a very good turbo.

Asking for opinions on a supercharger...

Here is my take on blowers. TVS has instant power, centrifugal needs rpms to build power, Whipple is between the two. You WILL need a high stall converter with a centrifugal and 2.9 Whipple. Just speaking from experience. I would go CPR single turbo if I had to do it all over again. BTW a...

Automatics and Power-Adder? New to Coyotes

There is a big difference in a twin screw and a TVS. Twin screw, Whipple, requires a higher stall converter. A TVS, Roush or VMP, does not.

I think the opened up air box with the AFE inverted filter made just as much HP as the JTL. No numbers to prove it though. It is a lot better than the stock air box. Seems like I paid around $65 shipped from Amazon for the filter.

Boosted Cars - Any benefits from running a colder t-stat

It is pretty easy to adapt a manual only radiator for use with an automatic. I wonder how it would work with a Roush intercooler clearance wise.

Boosted Cars - Any benefits from running a colder t-stat

I run a 160 in my car. Might as well run the stock one. The radiator is the problem with these cars. It is way too small. A Ford Racing fan will help I guess as it moves a lot more air.

    Supercharged Fuel Economy

I get about 25mpg with my Roush at a 70mph cruise. E85 drops that to 15mpg.

Wanted to get a touch move cold air in. I installed one of the inverted filters also. I got just as much boost with it as I did with the JLT. JLT just added super charger whine.

    Selling My 2012 GT Premium

I have decided to sell my '12 GT A6 car. It has 35,280 miles. I installed a 2015/16 short block a few months ago. List of mods - Roush blower, JLT cai, 75,79 and 82mm pulleys, VMP BAP, 1,000cc injectors, White Line LCAs, SCT tuner with 4 VMP tunes, O/R X pipe, several sets of wheels and tires...

    Free Flowing Mufflers

I am in search of a little more horsepower. I currently run cat deletes and stock mufflers. I really don't like loud mufflers and absolutely hate drone. Thought about GT500 mufflers. Just looking for other options.

    Blew My Engine

Not exactly certain what caused it. Sounds like a broken rod. Probably too much HP on a stock engine. Trying to decide between an Aluminator short block or '15-'16 stock block. 700-725whp is enough for me. Ford Racing says the new stock engine has basically Boss rods and pistons. I can get an...

    Street Tire Traction

I have come to the conclusion that nothing will hook on the street. My MT ET Street Pros certainly will not. A TVS on E85 is not street dig friendly. My car is lowered about 1 1/2" in the rear by cutting the rear springs. I have Whiteline LCAs. Tried the BMR relocation brackets to no avail...
