This is so sad, I'm sorry man.
I'm sure this isn't on your radar at this point, but I found a couple replacements for the car, thought I'd share em..
Hopefully these links are allowed on here..

I always wanted to install Kicker's "Substage" kit in my '11 GT, but now that I finally got around to ordering one, they are discontinued. If anyone has one they want to sell, or a lead as to where I can find an NOS kit, I would appreciate it. Shelby also sold one, under their name, but it has...
I searched quite a bit on various Ford forums last night for an answer, but just came up with a buncha crap like "try whacking the steering column".
I also read through the anti-theft section of the owners manual, but it just concludes a no-start condition with "see your authorized Ford...
I thought the anti-theft disabled the fuel pump? I could be wrong here. I would:
Be certain the battery is good.
Check all the fuses.
Lock and unlock the car w/ the key.
Disconnect/reconnect the battery again.
Good thinking checking the 302S specs.
I agree about the 302 LS, beautiful car. I considered a 302 in yellow, but loved the GT500 more. That's why I thought it would be fun to get a set of those LS wheels to swap on/off my car to change things up sometimes.
A lot of great information, I appreciate it! I assumed the 302S wheel was the same as the LS wheel, just a different color, so I never checked the fitment on the 302S.
I like the gray painted accents on the LS wheel better than the black on the 302S wheel, but I know I'm getting fussy here...
Since we're on the subject of OEM VS aftermarket wheels here..
I had really wanted to get a set of 13/14 OEM Laguna Seca wheels, but when I went to buy them I noticed they have a note that they will not fit a 13/14 GT500.
They're 19" wheels, so a fitment issue never crossed my mind until I...
You're very resourceful. I suppose the only question left is why the 2 different part #'s for the same wheel, but it's not important. The confirmation is great, and interesting. Thanks for posting that.
Ya, I got a price of $2K each from my local dealer. Crazy. Thanks for another confirmation...
That's definitely plausible, I hadn't considered that. I was more worried about them being a fake cast knock-off wheel, or some kind of Ford reject. I thought it was suspicious that this place had a bunch to sell, but the number was modified. Especially on eBay. But other than that, they sure...
Has anybody looked closely at the pictures? Why would the last digit of the part number be changed from an "A" to a "B" so crudely? I called the seller, he promises they are new OEM, and not fake.
I don't know if you have inspections where you are, but I accidentally let my battery die one winter and it was a PIA to get the emissions readiness happy so I could get my next inspection sticker. I keep a tender on it now. Just side note.
I told Autonation all about the problem, but they didn't seem to have any interest in pursuing it any further. Maybe I had the wrong guy.
As far as the boot change, I now have both the 10/12 alcantera boot and the "original" smooth 13/14 boots in my possession. The 10/12 boot, IMO, is much...
I know most folks on here prefer dark or black wheels, but I think that silver stripe delete car would look killer with the 13/14 hypersilver base wheels!
I thought I had taken this as far as it could go, clearly I was wrong. Good work on getting some answers BC!
The substitution is interesting, but it's really annoying that Ford would do that, and even more annoying that that many people complained about NVH.
But thanks for pursuing it BC!
Well the DR3Z-7277-AA boot from Ford retails for $50, and can generally be purchased for around $35 from a dealer.
If you would like to sell one, PM me if you can. Or I'll just post my email address or my phone # or whatever works for you. Thank you.
Beautiful picture, very well done sir.
I've considered doing something like this myself, but I lack the vision and the skill to capture an image like that. That is excellent.
