If the weather cooperated, I would agree, gotta add to that 7k miles so far, ha.
No pics of the GN currently, been off the road at a shop for far too long. Debating on doing a proper resto, but hate to be in paint/body shop jail again (painful reminders from the 66 convertible...).
Have a...
Hi, Dale, hope you're enjoying "retirement" and the nicer weather down there! No on the car shows - once covid hit, they had the NHTPD cops sitting in the parking lot shooing people away. Then, Excela bought the complex and wouldn't allow them to meet anymore. Hope you're getting out and...
Exactly. I got those 305/35/20 Nitto 555RII's ($899.73 OTD) on the rear from Discount Tire but it took several weeks to get them in. Definitely recommended though, low tire noise and good traction. Best of luck.
I ended up ordering from Discount Tire Direct, since while Lethal had these in stock I couldn't find anyone willing to mount them. It took this long to get both tires in from the west coast to the only DTD store in Pittsburgh (oddly, 1 came in fairly quickly and the 2nd tire took over a month...
Good luck there. I've had mine on order with them for weeks (granted coming from the west coast to PA) and they just got one the other day and don't know when the other is coming in, lol.
Small world, that dealer is 3 miles from where I live and my assistant coach on my soccer team is a sales guy there. I just texted him, it's preowned/1 owner, 7k miles, Red/Black stripes, gorgeous. Price shows as $86,629. I have no idea what that price is relative to original sticker or ADM...
Good morning, NT555®RII 305/35/20 P&D? Need 2 for the rears - wouldn't mind a good shop recommendation near 15642 that would be "gentle" with my 50th anniversary Alcoa's ;) Thanks.
OK, Lethal's got 'em, question is due to the profile/wheel, the local Ford dealer doesn't want to mount/balance (blaming it on older "equipment")...what should I be looking for/asking at a tire shop other than "be careful of these expensive wheels!", ha!?
Time to bring out the Shelby (finally). Stopped by the Ford dealer this morning to get an inspection on another car and was asking about tires for the Shelby, specifically 305/35/20 NT555RII for the rear. We looked them up and none are in stock from Tirerack. Has anyone had any luck finding...
Well, the wheels are correct for a 69 Mach 1. I was only pointing out the car is extremely nice to be missing deck lid Letters? I sold a 70 Mach 1 to make room for the GT500, they are good looking cars. Pretty cool the original sticker, etc comes along with everything. Hard to tell from the...
Those are the correct wheels for a 69. Odd addition to the front bumper, never seen that before (cattle bars)? Such a nice car and yet missing the S and the G from MUSTANG on the rear decklid? Lots of scammers scraping picks off the internet, wanted ads, etc and using in those "need to sell...
Guilty as charged...bought new off the showroom floor (6k miles now), NEVER seen rain in fact I've never used the windshield wipers (seriously)! Sits beside the 66 GT convertible that's got about 7k miles on it since a rotisserie restoration in '07, similar circumstances, ha. And I keep...
Hi, saw your post on selling the 2021 - how did you like it compared to your 2014? Still have the 2014? I got mine off the showroom floor at Lester Glenn Ford in Ocean Township, NJ. What all options did you end up going with?
