    Transmission and rear end combo

Between the promotion built t45 and the built tr3650, which do you think is a better option?

    Transmission and rear end combo

I just discovered Promotion Powetrain, and their t45 rated to 700hp. It's cheaper than the t56 and I don't need any conversion parts. So when I explode the input shaft in my t45 that's what I think I'll do.

The part number I listed in the original post has a 2.97 first and .50 6th. It's TUET11011. You can find it on the Tremec website.

    Transmission and rear end combo

I have Bilsteins in the rear already, buy stock springs. I still don't have FLSFCs yet. I want more gearing but don't want to wind it out to far in the highway. That's why I was thinking that t56 with the wide ratio would be a good option with a set of 4.30s. first gear is 2.98 in the t56 and...

Sorry about that, I posted in an area with no service, so I guess it posted a few times. If an admin wants to delete a few of those I welcome it.

    Transmission and rear end combo

I have the IRS still with 3.27s, but it has a full tilt boogie bushing set, and when I rebuild the pumpkin it's getting a Detroit true-trac and level 5 half shafts along with gears. I'm doing a whopping 13.0 at 110 right now on street tires, and I'm far from happy with that.

Do you think launching at the track will kill the t45 with a decent set of tires? That's my big fear.

    Transmission and rear end combo

It's a fun weekend car, I shift at 7400rpm, and it makes great power from 4000 up. Very linear power curve actually.

    Transmission and rear end combo

I recently got my 99 Cobra back on the road with the 5.3l BBS motor and an looking into a stronger transmission and a rear end rebuilt. I was thinking about going with the TUET11011 Tremec t56 Magnum with 4.30 gears in the rear end. Does this sound like an appropriate combo for me? I'm open to...

I thought with my heads breathing the way they do, the higher intake duration would help. My mistake I suppose. Thanks for the reply NA svt. What sct mad do you recommend since I'm pegging my lightning maf? Sent from my SM-G950U using the svtperformance.com mobile app

So I just cut my 90 degree elbow that was in the fender off so it's a straight shot into the intake. The pipe that goes into the fender is only 3.25" or 83mm so it's definitely still too small, I ordered a 101mm maf adaptor for my air filter to attach to in the fender. With the 3.25" pipe on it...

I appreciate your post, it's weird because on a stock Cobra with the Sullivan intake it doesn't start making good power until over 6k and keeps going up to redline. With your setup I have much more aggressive intake and cams plus ported heads and higher compression, so I would think I should rev...

I'll datalog tomorrow and let you know on the counts, I don't remember exactly what they were. We tried adding more timing and it didn't gain anything so we backed it back off again. It might have been more than 23 but I'm pretty sure it was close to it. I was told the LMAF was good to 500, but...
