You can use cams designed for Stock 2V Heads but you will make more power if you have cams designed for the Trick Flow Heads. I ran "off the shelf" MMR "Stage 2" Blower Cams in my TFS 195 Heads for 4 years & 30,000 miles with no issues. Always have your cams degreed, don't just line up the marks...
Haltech is always updating the Elite ESP Software and ECU Firmware. For cruise control you need the 2500, it supports Drive-By-Wire which is required to use cruise control. The 2000 does not.
I don't, I haven't installed it yet. Car is undergoing a new engine build and a lot of other changes. I'm debating whether to keep the stock cluster and use the MXP as a secondary display, or just use the MXP only. I started a build thread you can follow...

Only thing I dislike is Haltech chose Racepak as their dash provider. I went with a AIM MXP Strada Dash instead. Since the Haltech retains the factory instrument cluster, you can pick up their CAN Gauge for $360 or save up for a few months like I did to buy an aftermarket dash lol.
