Good kills, surprised you beat the blown 3v. I have a 3v that had a 1200 series Paxton on it and pulled on a stock '12 pretty well on the highway. It was fairly even with my GT500 through the 1/8th mile
L&M used King Bearings in my short block, but I used an iron block. Also, they said ZERO engine braking while in the break in procedure because it can polish the walls.
I can't imagine a GT500 on Oahu, that would be tough to live with all the 45 mph speed limits.
I have these cams and they are a bit much for a true daily in stop and go traffic in my opinion. But they sound amazing and produce tremendous power gains.
I did the Supercar 10mm primaries for peace of mind. Going to the 10mm also allows you to do the TFS billet crank gear which is all of $25. The car made 877/795 at 6300 rpm and still climbing with a Trinity TVS.

Those do not look like the KR/FR500S mufflers.
A lot of people get the KR/FR500S (same thing) mixed up with the Ford Racing Stingers...they are visually different and sound VERY different. I have KR's on my 3v in multiple configurations and they have never once droned. Currently on a car that...
In tank pump, with line running up the driver side from the tank into the manifold, then into the heat exchanger. From there it goes back down the passenger side into the tank. The heat exchanger is mostly useless in this configuration but probably prevents massive heat build up on the street.
I don't think you'll have a problem, there are plenty if fast 07-12 cars out there. I actually did the opposite, 13/14 heads on an iron 5.4 but I did upgraded springs, retainers, and valve seals. If the part about the valves being better than previous years is true I'll be ecstatic.
English Racing, owned by Lucas English. He just drives it though, ETS (partner shop) built it.
Also the red Z is owned by Morris Malone. English Racing is like 25 minutes from my house and I've ran into Morris at local race events very year. It went 220 mph by the way on his last pass
L&M did my short block and it came with their break-in instruction sheet. At the bottom in bold letters it said to not conduct deceleration until after the break in period was over because of the incredibly low cylinder pressures it causes. And pressure/combustion seats rings.
