Wow, what a great car. I love four-eye cars, and Joe told me about the "ridiculously clean fox" that he did the exhaust on. I'm local, and would love to see the car in person sometime.
That's my car in the background in this picture. :)

They are a set of FRPP "B" seats (2011-12) that were converted to power/heated/adjustable lumbar Shelby leather, (black with white stripes) front and back. See this thread for details. Tob and I "wrote the book" on how to do this. :)

Hmmm. Makes me wonder what a complete set of used Shelby Recaros are worth today. I'll be selling mine sometime in the next few months as I prepare for my next car. Perhaps a '19 GT500 or an '18 GT350 with a couple turbos.

You don't need anything fancy to punch the hole in the leather. I used an awl to poke a whole through it, then just ran my zip ties and it worked liked a champ.
I need a good, working-condition MT82 from a coyote car. That means no worn or damaged synchros, no grinding gears, etc. I only need the trans, as I already have a Centerforce DYAD and a carbon fiber driveshaft. If one of you guys has one, and is willing to ship it to Phoenix AZ 85308, I'd be...

I have a set I'm considering removing and selling. Fronts and backs. Have factory heaters in them too if you have the comfort package. Where are you located and what are you willing to pay. These cost me a fortune.
I wounded 5th gear on my MT-82 and I'm looking for a replacement. It turns out that WOT powershifting 5th repeatedly with a blower at the 1/2 mile races isn't good for it.
Anyway, I'm searching for a good replacement. I know the driveshaft flange is different, but is there anything else? Can I...
I get it man.
You know how forums get. Somebody has a less-than-ideal experience, and immediately everyone starts to swarm like bees and assume everything is like that. I just want folks to understand that your experience is not necessarily representative of a typical Whipple install.
Plus, my...
I just want to reinforce, my experience with my Stage 3 Whipple for my '11 GT was night-and-day different.
Everything was perfect. Every part was in the box. The only problem I ever had was a squeaky idler pulley (which Whipple immediately sent me a new tensioner for) and I blew the fuel pump...
I have MM caster/camber plates, steeda sport springs, and Koni Str.t shocks/struts. All stock control arms everywhere. Rides like a dream. Quiet. Comfortable. Zero wheelhop (even with 600 hp). Good alignment. Perfect for a streetcar.
