It’s always the little things that big you the most isn’t it? The bigger things tend to get done because they need to for it to run, the little stuff just seems to get put off till a later date
Nice! Just hoping for 600 here if I can get it
No E85 just 93 here. I would like to go dead head too and will get moving on it as soon as I get a bunch of things crossed off my honey do list
I read that article from Malcom as well, My fuel regulator will be in the right front fender too, still humming and hawing about dead head or flow through, I might try the dead head system first, I can always change it but it has worked for a lot of folks. This is just a cruiser car, not going...
Hoping for 600w on pump gas, no E85 anywhere near, just a stock block with a 2.3 Whipple, with currently stock size lower pulliy. I have 3” on the Whipple right now and will get the Metco kit soon.
Any shiny stuff in the diff oil? If there is any at all, you’re going to have to pull it apart. If you wanted to be really sure, send a sample for analysis. If the bearings are the least worn now, they will not last long and you will be again. The pinion is pretty snug on the outer bearing, to...
I don’t know if I will be heating the fuel or not, I am running duel Walbro 465 pumps so I don’t want to take any chances. Might as well put the cooler in while I am putting the fuel system together rather than have to deal with it later. Near as I can tell, other than a little restriction, the...
I am adding a small fuel cooler to my fore return fuel system. Best option to plumb it?
Before the filter, after the filter, on the return side? All comments appreciated.
Thank’s I will check it out, my ocd won’t let me have something on a car that doesn’t work. And if I ever sell this thing, (lol) I will be able to honestly say everything works
I used an engine hoist to put my Whipple on, actually very easy, less chance of damaging the paint trying wrestle the blower and manifold out of the car, lifting it is one thing but getting it out of the engine bay is another,
It’s like amber tails, whatever the traffic will bare. Congrats on the quick sale! I want amber tails but there is only so much money in the kitty for the build, so they are going to have to wait. I know there will be a price penalty for waiting.
Love to see the pics of that one,
What are you doing for an antenna now, not a big concern for me because I generally don’t listen to the radio but if I am going to have a radio in the car it’s gotta work, just one of my things, if it’s there, it has to fulfill its intended purpose.
never feels good to be lied to about anything but especially something high value like a car. It always leaves you suspect about everything else about thr car.. I guess the best way to deal with this now if to try serching for car fax, or previous posts on the forums. the folks here ae grt at...
Who would believe a guy selling a car would lie to you about its condition and/or history? As much as it sucks for the OP, it is on the buyer to determine the condition of the car and if he/she feels it is fair value for the ask. How you determine that after it’s been changed back to stock can...
