The rear seat is sold from Ford to install into the GT350R if one desires. Wonder how easy it will be to do the same if one wanted one back in the GT500 CF TP later as well?
Base model seat easily installed? Haven't seen what would keep that from being done yet. Anyone heard?
So the way it worked was I wanted the GT500. Nothing had been announced about what would be allocated yet, but my MAS guy said he was taking up to 3 deposits for one for once it does pop up so I would be in line. 2 had already been made. They simply drew it up like I'm buying a Mustang GT to be...
I was told them same, but it was only for those who put in for the drawing prior to 30 Sept. Don't think they are actually taking new peeps for that drawing. If so...i may be a little upset. lol
Or...you are getting the 350r? I was told 2 allocations for the 500, and 2 for the GT350R. Actually, I think that's what the form said, wasn't it? Which did you put in for?
So, are you getting it? I was told by my MAS rep that there is another redraw (3rd one now) on the 25th because the 2 that get drawn keep backing out.
I'm crossing my fingers I get called. I told him, if I get chosen, this guy is NOT backing out. It's sold as far as I'm concerned.
I'm sorry...but for anyone to defend $10k painted stripes is delusional to the 10th degree. Hell...even Shelby American doesn't charge that much, and they are known for being pricey...
Just talked to the local Chevrolet dealer. $5k deposits for reserving an order. NO ADM, at least through this dealer, but it was the 1st one i contacted. He said they are still waiting for the options pricing.
Yeah Ford has really disappointed me thus far with everything dealing with this car. Marketing, option prices, golden ticket b.s. etc etc etc. And to add, go on the Ford website and try to build a GT500. It doesn't even exist on there! And the order banks are open! Go to the Chevrolet site, and...
The CF TP just got exposed and in rather brutal fashion.
With the ADMs i've been told from dealers on the CF TP, you are correct. I could be wrong, but I think Ford just said "oh sxxx" at losing alot of attention on their car today. I'm not a Corvette guy at ALL. But...I have to say, i'm...
I get tons of thumbs up in my Shelby which most here do, BUT we all know it's 99% dudes (in boxers lol). Most women think it's just another Mustang. But every hot chick knows a Lambo when they see one...just sayin...
Just talked to a dealer in Tennessee. They are charging $25k ADM on the base model, and said they had an offer of $100k over sticker for the golden ticket car. Though, i actually don't believe him, but he said they are waiting on him to bring the check down.
I could buy a used lambo that would...
The 6060 only struggled with shifts due to physical shifter setup (remote from the trans) from the factory. It was never a matter of whether it could hold the power or not. Many, if not most people in 13/14s are well over 650-700 to the rear with zero issues, and I don't know of too many who...
I'd be careful with that. When I bought mine, I was told it had to be held 24 months before resale so that they could keep intact the integrity of the program and the lower prices for those who serve. Of course, that one was 6 years ago, so perhaps things have changed, but I doubt it. Just be...
Well, I'm not military anymore. But I have worked with the Army and Air Force as a civilian for the last 12 years. My unit deploys...I go with them, and stay the entire time they are deployed. I come home when they come home. So, the military auto sales offers the same purchase program to us as...
Yep. Was lottery though as well. I was told there were 31 slots up for grabs the year it came out. I put in for that one...didn't get drawn though.
There were 30 available for the '14 GT500. I wasn't drawn initially, then a sale fell through and I got the call.
Was the 13/14 not when it came out? Highest hp mass produced vehicle in the world at that time. GT350 was pretty special when it came out imo. Both were offered...
Well, I have till November if they do. But the last message I got from MAS today sounded pretty concrete. Evidently they spoke with Ford management yesterday...:/
This one was supposed to be a lottery as well. But, if no slots avail, no lottery of course...
So, got the bad news today. Ford is not offering the 2020 GT500 to anyone serving overseas through the Military Auto Source program. Sucks. I bought my 2014 through that program when I was deployed then as well. Worked out so awesome for those serving abroad who want to enjoy what they bought...
