Thinking about taking the leap. Currently have factory IM and airbox on my 2012 GT automatic. Other mods are Circle D 5C converter, 47lb injectors for E85, Mike Rousch tuning, and an O/R X-pipe. 3.15 gear and 27" tire (255/60-15 M/T DR), so I'm going through the traps at 7000rpm at 116mph in...
Some of you may remember that I had a white 2011 GT last year (auto, Circle D, Boss manifold, E85, 11.40s), which I sold and regretted ever since. So....I bought another one yesterday.
This one is a 2012 'base' GT (cloth interior), automatic. Only option is the back-up assist system thing...
This is my 13th (I think?) Mustang. I had a convertible C5 for a bit but decided to get back into an S197. My last Mustang was a 2011 GT auto with a Circle D converter, Boss manifold, Mike Rousch tune (the best!), off road x-pipe, E85, that ran 11.40s. I've had a Vortech-then-turbo 2005 GT, KB...
So obviously some members here have been bickering back and forth about whose transbrake setup is best. I'm not too interested in sifting through the pissing contests, but I would like to know how much a car like mine (Boss manifold, 5C converter, 3.31 gears as the basic mods) would gain with...
Had a great day at Rock Falls Raceway today. Opening day at the local track. I made 15 passes (could have made a lot more if I wanted), and I only was there for 3-1/2 hours. My previous best ever pass was an 11.578 at 118.3, last season, in ~1100' DA, on pump gas. Today ranged from zero to about...
Not big dyno numbers but this is what the car picked up by switching to E85. Peak power is only up by 9hp but the midrange torque is up 20+ at some places and the curve looks much better. It should pull a lot harder after shifts now in the 5000-5500 range. Also the old pull was with JBA mufflers...
I searched and found a couple old threads about them, but not much. Thinking about trying them on my 2011 GT A6. I currently have some old 255/50-16 M/Ts but I just got some 15x8 Racestars. Best 60' last year was 1.59, only the 2nd time out with my 5C converter. Car just has a couple bolt ons...
Anyone have a nice lightly used pair for sale? Not looking for the Pros, just the regular ET Street Radials.
PM me if you have a pair. Shipped price to 55092 also please.
Thanks!

The track that I typically go to is a little 'marginal' with their track prep (if they do any at all)...last time I went there with my current setup (Boss mani, CAI, O/R X, tune, Circle D 5C, stock 3.15s) I was only able to manage 1.67-1.68 60-foots on 255/50-16 ET Street radials. Another track...
Two 17x8 1999-2004 Mustang GT wheels (30mm offset). Fit perfectly on 2005-2014 V6 and GT non-Brembo cars....Mounted with two 235/55-17 Michelin tires with about 1/2 tread - nothing special but they work.
These are ~ 44lbs each, or about 10-11lbs per corner less than factory 18x8" wheels and...

Cedar Falls Raceway in Iowa today. DA was in the +1200 to +1300 range with a mild crosswind.
2011 GT base automatic. Circle D 5C converter, Airaid CAI, Boss intake manifold, Pypes off-road x-pipe, JBA axleback, Mike Rousch (Mid Atlantic Performance) custom tune for the 80% 92 octane / 20% E85...
+1100 to +1300' DA throughout the day. Car has a Boss IM, Pypes offroad x-pipe, JBA mufflers, Airaid CAI, Circle D 5C, and a tune from Mike Rousch at Mid Atlantic Performance. Stock 3.15s, driveshaft, and exhaust manifolds. Front sway bar disconnected, otherwise stock suspension with SR lowering...
