Located in Southeast Michigan, specifically Western Washtenaw County, and my regular stations, that have always tested right on, are now testing slightly low. Speedway was at 83% and Marathon was at 80%.
Was wondering if this is a trend elsewhere? Thinking about using VP X85 at the track.
Some concern about the quality of some E85 in Southeast Michigan, specifically the Macomb County area. This is from Alternative's FB page. Cliff notes=Looks like some bad E85 came from the Meijers from Hall Rd and Hayes, make sure you test you fuel.
Same tuner (and dyno) for my pump 93 and E85 tunes. I'd say they were both a safe, very street friendly tune. Both tunes were about 12 lbs boost (Roush TVS). Pump 93 tune made 568 HP. E85 tune + VMP 67 mm throttle body and elbow made 670 HP for a 102 HP gain. ETs went from 10.80s to 10.20s...
Also have the E85 tune from Lidio and very happy with it. I am near Chelsea Mi and tested the stations I normally use last week. They were both about 77%. I know June 1st is the date they have to go full E85 but hoping they go early.
