So sorry for your loss. I lost two of mine last year to cancer, I think about them everyday. I still feel a couple of empty holes missing in my heart for them. Truly sucks.
Lol. It’s gotten 1.3s before and this track is suppose to be better prep than the other one where I got 1.3s, so I was expecting low 1.3s. The car would hook then unload the tires. Still trying to figure out setting the compression and rebound right for better 60fts.
Thanks man! Original 16k mile car. It’s a 430” Darton sleeved ls6 block with some lightly ported 243 heads and a baby d1sc on e85. Makes 13-15lbs. Ran 5.94 at 118mph on its third pass and with about 650hp. Should go a little faster now.
Thanks everyone. Rousey also got hit by something weird that caused her to deteriorate very rapidly. She was fine this past week, then Friday she cut her ears scratching them and they couldn’t stop the bleeding. By the end of Saturday she was having a hard time breathing, they put her on oxygen...
I’m extremely devastated to say my old girl Rousey passed this morning. It’s been very hard and sucks so bad. She was 11. I will forever love her so much.
That’s fast! I didn’t take my car either but I was there with my brother and buddy. My brother was in his black f body, he went 9.65 stock bottom end ls1 on nitrous. And my buddy in the white 30th Camaro went 9.27, his is a 6.0 on nitrous.
Thanks man! I wasn’t expecting that giving what it made on the dyno. I did tighten up the belt more prior to the track and it’s making 13lbs now so I’m guessing it’s around 680whp. Race weight was 3300lbs with me in it
Finally made it out to the track for the first time with this car. Had belt slip issues on the dyno so only made 11lbs and 635whp. My car is the red Camaro, my brother is the black Camaro and her white one is my buddies car. Brother went 6.20 at 113, buddy went 5.97 at 116, I went 5.94 at 118
That’s definitely rolling! Should’ve already had a few trips to irwindale but breaking a ringland really ****ed that up. Engine is at the shop now so hopefully in the next couple months. In the middle of taking weight out and converting to manual brakes and deleting the power steering.
