Hi All,
Put these on the car and took them right back off. Went a different route. Never drove on them so newish if you will.
Nothing wrong with them at all. Yes, it's a great price.
All you need is hoses and fittings to make your own set up. The 2 ends with AN's are ORB.
The Y-block will...
Had bought the parts 6 months ago so already had them with no recourse.
So I can try them out, see if they work and roll or pre-emptively spend another $500. Figured I'd try to save the money first.
Also assumed maybe the other dude got a bad batch and mine are ok. Nope
And the trashcan company strikes again.
I CANNOT MAKE THIS UP.
Got around to installing ported blower with all of SPE's fuel rails, lines and fittings (had bought them months ago) and they all leaked!
The fittings from y-block to lines, the 90's & 45, and the fittings from back of rail to SPE...
Kinda hard to tell but I think it has 2. It's already off the car, might have a shop put a new bearing in it but not sure if I'll continue to run it. If I don't get slip I'll leave it off.
Yes it says dual. It's oem/stock. These cars are dual pump and FPDM from the factory.
So the car is stock FMCP (FPDM) wise. Both the circled modules in the pics are the same size and have the same writing on them.
The tech from JMS txt me back today saying their boost-a-pumps are mislabeled...
Yeah more just surprised at how vehemently they defended their product that failed.
The only other options on the market are $300. The money part wasn't a big deal. I just want people to know what they get with SPE.
Oh boy was that for the gt500? I have their rails and am putting them on this weekend. Bought them, pully and idler all like 6 months ago. They've sat new in a box ever since then.
More deets on what happened with the rails?
Yeah there's even more silly stuff Amy told me. All completely wrong.
Hi All,
So had an issue with my SPE Idler making noise. Contacted SPE and they’re basically doing nothing about it. This was a new part, bought directly from them not even a month old.
Has less than 200 miles on it. SPE told me this noise is normal operation and nothing is wrong with it. I...
OP do you have some miles on your set up yet?
Does your SPE idler pulley squal? Mine done big time and they don't give a shit. Their literally telling me it's normal and all of their idlers squeal.
Interesting. Common issue on the wire harness thing. Hopefully Ford should cover it under warranty. Might depend on the dealer. If it was stock or close to it, it would 100% be covered. Seen it personally covered multiple times.
OP so had this set up on the car for a monthish now. Does yours make this very slight marble/dry bearing noise? It's at like 1500rpm and above and you can barely hear it. Almost like a bearing in a pulley is dry.
A buddy of mine said all 2650's make it when you change the pulley and it's the...
Oh yeah we saw it in the log, It was seeing mid 14psi on the log and it dropped to 12ish psi in that small rpm window.
Going back in 2 days and will get some logs and graphs.
Welp did 780, touch of belt slip and its safe. Stopped pull at 7450.
97 degrees on 91 oct.
Theres some more tuning I'm going to go back and do on wednesday of next week. Might be a lil more under peak. Might try 1 size smaller belt. Don't know if thats going to change anything.
It slips...

Which ones did you go with? I have heard the 2" ARH can rub and not sure about kooks.
Kinda weird drama when you buy direct from Kooks if going catless. They want your year, make model and VIN and I don't like that. Stay out my biz gubberment.
