It’s got an accident report, possible corrosion from being in Hawaii, and it’s got to shipped from Hawaii. And it’s a ragtop which doesn’t bother me but does to some.
I‘ve been watching it. Last minute bidders are waiting it out.
I have zero familiarity with the marauder, but what’s that bracket on top of the intake for? That’s why I thought it was a Mach 1 looking like the shaker bracket.
Truth on black walnuts. Not the pretty English walnuts the wife buys during the holidays.
Black walnuts will dent modern cars easily and also wreck mower blades.
The only thing that loves American black walnuts are squirrels. Squirrel!
Trust me I know the feeling. When it HITS you, you’ll know it instantly. I’ve been following your build. I came “this close” to doing a Cobra build years ago. My realization as to how I drive finally change my mind. I guess I scared myself out of one. For now anyway..
Thanks for the compliment on the color. There’s a little story to it.
While the car was blown apart for this build I spent over a year trying to decide a color. Didn’t want black, didn’t want red, didn’t want wild “streetrod “ colors..
I spent countless hours on the internet looking at other ‘33...
The were advertised from Ford to be 305 HP.
Another thing, the manual trans engines came with a forged crank & the auto’s didn’t.
They are snappy little engines.
They didn’t get the fanfare in ‘03 ‘04 like the supercharged Cobra did but they’re still solid.
The bracket on top of the intake is for the shaker scoop.
The ‘03 had dark colored cam covers like in the picture. The ‘04’s had natural aluminum colored ones.
