Hello all. 96 cobra w/vortech v1 3.24 pulley, lightning maf, anderson pp, 60lbs inj, 340 pump....so my maf is pegged.
Should I change to a sct ba2400 or a diablo MAFia.
Thank you all.

Good day all. Installed an AEM 30-0300 AFR gauge a few months back and all of a sudden the gauge reads "sens". I changed the O2 sensor....nothing. anyone have any ideas how to troubleshoot this. I sent an email to AEM already.
Thank you .

Everyone has their personal favorite for their own reasons. I've always used the autolites.....some swear by the Ford motorcraft plugs, etc.......
What are your personal favorites and does climate really factor as much as some speculate. Thank you in advance.

so i have been reading about a company out in texas called advanced fuel dynamics that has a piggy back system that allows cars to run a 50/50 mixture of E85 and 93 pump. they mainly target bmw and benz turbo cars. ive been in contact with them and they said it works and it lowers IAT and allows...
What's the most boost this stock motor could handle. Currently on a 6lb pulley but want to up the boost. I've upgraded the pump to a 340 stealth, 60lb inj., stock tb, lightning maf. I believe the sc pulley is 3.60 (haven't measured it and it doesn't have any visible markings on it). Any opinions...
so i had, what i thought, was a starter go bad but when i swapped the starter....the same thing happened. turn the key...i hear the fuel pump priming....then nothing. sometimes i hear it click then just silence. picked up a remanufactured ford unit. i tested the power to the starter....its good...
i was wondering if using an oil additive to a V1 vortech 4V motor will actually be harmful. sorry if this belongs somewhere else and if this is a crazily recycled topic but i was just curious what most thought.
thank you
Hello all.....
Had a noobie question.
belt is slipping on my 96 cobra with a vortech V1.....
Is there an easy way to replace this bad boy?
if anyone can direct me to a video or info ...i would dearly appreciate it.
thank you in advance.
i want to run corn. I see everyone runs multiple pumps and huge injectors along with a SC.
my question is simple. what are the requirements to make 400-450 on my stock motor on E85 with a vortech s-trim.
someone please help.
Recently getting back into the performance scene after having my 95 built beast stolen back in 2000. I was so disgusted by thievery that i just walked away from the car scene all together.
But I picked up a 96 Cobra a few years back and after my instincts took over I purchased a vortech V1...
so I've been hearing a lot of conflicting advice from ppl. i have a v1 I'm in the middle of installing and have now hit a wall.....im being told a lot of different things regarding
injector size and maf.
vortech v1
aeromotive 340
4:10s
exhaust
only thing missing is the injector/maf combo.
what...
Should i upgrade the fuel system?.....in tank pump, injectors, etc....or just go fmu. Opinions please. Motor is stock.

Does anyone know what diameter and length the caliper pins are. I just realized I've been driving without 1 on the driver side. Nothing happened but I would rather put a nut and bolt thru there. Or if anyone has a mod for that ....would love to hear it.
so my motor is totally stock....i wanted to up the power a bit. i wanted to change the TB, MAF and inlet pipe between the maf and tb. i have a CAI already w/k&n... is it worth it? will i have issues with the CEL? the car already has 4:10s, short throw, x-pipe w/flows, SVE rear upper and lowers...
