I searched, but didn't come up with anything...
My neighbor works at a dealership, and has a 50th Anniversary Mustang. It has an SVT badge on the back, and they just added vanity plates that say "ECO SVT."
Is there such a thing as an SVT-built EcoBoost model? If so, can somebody link to...
Just saw this, and haven't seen any comments on it anywhere on here.
Any idea where they're getting this "5.8" stuff from? Didn't think the current block would fit in the S550. New block? Punched out Coyote...
Found this on the vintage forum I hang out on.... Somebody bought one of the totaled cars and is using it to build a 67. The shop that is doing it has a pretty strong reputation.
Will be interesting to see how this comes out. Enjoy...
I've got a buddy who doesn't know much about shopping for cars, but has it bad for the C7. I'm trying to help him get one bought right, but don't even know where to begin gathering info on the C7 (ie, how much they're discounting, etc). I've got access to invoice pricing, but not sure how much...
Repping the Trinity Shelbys on the Pony Drive from Norman, OK to Charlotte, NC for the 50th Anniversary Celebration, and thought I'd share a few pics:
Lined up in Norman, ready to go! Got to hang out with a SBY Laguna Seca most of Day 1.
Rest stop in Arkansas this morning:
Beale Street...
Looking for input from those who've run an 8.8 in previous years' high horsepower cars: Was gear noise a problem?
I've never pushed more than 400hp/torque before, and only have personal experience, but don't recall ever having an issue with gear noise.
What is your experience...
Just finished install of my BMR stuff, along with FRPP Springs (Thanks VAN!). Only did a quick run tonight to test it out; all seemed good, no vibration or any clunking, but I did notice that under moderate acceleration I heard (but didn't feel anything) what seemed to be more pronounced...
As you can see to the left, my location has changed on the forum, and on the earth. Arrived last night in Vero Beach, FL, where we will be living, at least for a while.
This completed a 5000 mile journey from Eagle River, AK. Wife and I left AK on 8/30, and drove the whole way. I...
One week from today I should be on the road, relocating from Anchorage, AK to Vero Beach, FL. (I'm done with winters, and it's almost HERE here--guy in Lowes this morning was replacing the lawn mower display with snow blowers. :nonono:).
Anyway, original plan was to trailer the Shelby down...
Have 7500 miles on my stock goodyears, and the outermost circumferential groove is almost gone on the rears. Didn't think I'd been breaking them loose THAT much?
What's the most miles you've seen on these?
We played a little, where traffic allowed. Stopped and swapped contact info.
Don't know if he's on here or not. May not seem like a big deal to most, but it's not too common to see a Shelby in Alaska, let alone two.
Does the 2011-2012 Clutch Pedal Assembly have the clutch assist spring that came on the Bosses and the 2013s?
While removing the spring on my 13, I broke a switch mounting tab, and need to replace my entire assembly.
The 2013 assembly is $140 more than the 2011-2012 assembly. If the only...
Took the assist spring out last night. Easy job, no issues, everything seemed to go back together correctly. Finished up at 10 pm, couldn't think of a good reason to go for a drive, so I didn't do a test drive last night.
Went to leave for work this morning, and car won't start. key on...
Did the install of my 3.73s, and love them. Took the car to local dealer to have them reset my computer so that the speedo reads accurately.
Dealer's computer indicates option to change gear ratio to 3.73, but when he does, it doesn't change the speedo reading. Tried multiple times, before...
Just finished my 3.73 install. This is how they cars should have come from the factory. Car is much smoother to drive around town, pulling away from stoplights, etc... And then you get in it, and WOW!
I can't recommend this mod enough. It's the first mod to my car, and should be to every...
First drive of the new year tonight!
Highways are clear and dry, over 40 degrees, wife's out of town, and a guy has to eat, right? Took the Shelby to Wasilla for a salad at Red Robin (Sarah Palin can see my car from her back yard).
Man I've missed this thing! Winter is probably not...
I couldn't kill it, because it was already dead...
Went for a drive tonight, hoping to find someone who wanted to play. So far, haven't had anyone who wanted to take a shot at my car (13 GT500 vert). I was playing on an old 2 lane that runs by a river (the Rio Grande), when I met a red...
Installed my Bob's Catch Can this evening. Backed the car out of the garage, left it idling while I ran to grab something out of my truck. Car was idling at high idle (cold start), then suddenly fell off to about 600 rpm and started stumbling badly. I jumped in, tapped the gas, and it...
