What clutch are you running on your boosted setup?

We have been using the Mcleod RXT on all of our shop cars and all of them have seen plenty of track time and we've had had zero issues with the years of personal experience we having running them on our cars. If your going boost I would definitely recommend going with the RXT over the RST, as...

    Good set of shock/struts?

The Koni yellows is a great route to go if you want an easy adjustability strut and shock combo. They're slightly stiffer than stock when set to full soft. I have mine set on the firmer side and they still ride pretty tame on the road and they greatly increased the cars handling.

*NEW* VMP 2650 NOW Available for order here at Lethal Performance!

In the 12-13 psi range with supporting mods, that should put you at around 750whp on e85. Which tends to be the upper limit for 15-17 stock motors without chancing things too much.

    porting cobra jet intake

Back when I was n/a I had my Cobra jet sent out for some port work by Bret Barber, but I had it sent out before it ever went on the car. If your looking to get the most out of the setup, I'd highly recommend it. Ported work by Bret tends to yield 10whp/10wtq across a majority of the power curve.

Post up your whipple set up

If you get the SCT bdx handheld, that will allow you receive and send out tunes directly from the device. Or you can get an nGauge and log through the device then just load the SD card onto your desktop to send out the logs.

Stock Coyote Intake manifold porting ???

Bret Barber is the man to get with when it comes to manifold porting for the modular mustang community, you can find him pretty easily on the fb pages. I have a boss manifold ported by him, and I really didn't feel any seat of the pants tq loss with the switch, and it just pulls like a freight...

    Aftermarket Clutch with Stock Flywheel

It's highly recommended to go with the corresponding flywheel when upgrading the clutch. For example if you where to have a Mcleod clutch with the stock flywheel, then there won't be as much contact with the clutch disk as it would with the matching Mcleod flywheel, this will cause premature...

Suspension questions - LCA brackets/PHR & lowering springs

I would opt for camber plates over the ford racing strut mounts as the camber plates will allow you to dial in your camber how you want. We can set you up with Maximum Motorsports or J&M here at Lethal Performance, im pretty sure they both re-use the stock spring isolators. Just PM me for...

MGW vs STEEDA shifter for 96 cobra

Adjustable Struts/Shocks close to stock, on softest setting?

Yeah, the watts link definitely helped soften the ride for my car on bumpier roads. Not to mention how it helped out tremendously with handling and putting down power when coming out of corners.

Looking for input on this car/mods done to it

Looks like a solid build, done right, able to handle an ample amount of boost. As mentioned above, just have everything looked over by a shop you trust before purchasing..

    2013 GT - Auto-X upgrade - tires or suspension?

Second that! A watts link absolutely transforms the handling dynamics of the s197 chassis. If your really looking to go all out, a BMR k member, a-arms and watts link is the trifecta for any s197 thats geared for corner carving and autocross.

A question about sound with stock ota's and LT's

If your concerned about it being to loud, then I would skip on the OTA pipes and see how you like the bola Touring's. The Borla OTA pipes don't have resonators. So that will really increase the volume quite a bit with a completely unrestricted exhaust.

2015 mustang gt auto with procharger tune issue

No, Lund doesn't tuner on Diablo devices, quite certain that he only works with SCT and the nGauge.

Post up your whipple set up

The gen 3 Whipple is a monster out of the box, but it really wakes up with the larger, elliptical 132mm throttle body.. I saw a post earlier last week of the 132mm elliptical tb gaining 42whp and 20 wtq over just swapping out the stock tb on the Whipple kit. In regards to injectors, the...

Is it even worth getting a tuner for automatics?

A tune will definitely wake up the automatic and the shifts can be adjusted. The nGauge is a great device, making cataloging that much easier and allows you to see up to 6 engine parameters at one. The nGauge paired with a Lund Racing tune is a great way to go. My car has always run really hard...

Adjustable Struts/Shocks close to stock, on softest setting?

Koni yellow shocks and struts maintain a pretty comfortable ride when set to a soft setting, though they are still a bit firmer than stock. Ive been running them for year and love them, even on a pretty aggressive lowering spring, I have to qualms.

    What clutch to get

Mcleod twin disk RXT is an excellent setup for boosted cars. We run the RXT on basically all of our manual transmission shop cars. I've had one on my car for a couple of years as well, it holds the power great and maintains a good engagement point.

    Motor mounts

Yeah, with aftermarket poly motor mounts, you get a slight increase in NVH but its not all that bothersome at all and theres no audible vibration. I have the BMR kmemeber with integrated motor mounts and I really like how it changed the way the car shifts, eliminating engine deflection. BMR...

    Blower upgrade, Clutch and OPG

Adding billet oil pump gears and crank sprocket is definitely some good insurance for your investment when going boost. Also I don't think it would be necessary for you to take out the engine for either the oil pump gears, blower or clutch install. In regards to the blowers out there. You might...

    A whole new animal

The Boss looks amazing man, I bet it feels like its on rails now.. A watts link is a great addition to the s197 chasis, completely changes the handling characteristics of these cars. I absolutely love my BMR watts link.

    Bad wheel hop!!! Need help

If you start to encounter wheel hop or cradle deflection again as you start add more power to the car down the line. Not a bad a move to take a look at BMR's double adjustable rear toe rods, Vertical links and spherical LCA bearings.

OPG's, pulleys and shift points for whipple 2.9

On Paxton cars you might start to run into some slip once you got down to a 3.47 pulley. I started to see some up top with my 3.33 gated to 11lbs. 8 rib and and 20% lower completely eliminated that seeing 13.5-14lbs now.. And yeah good move with the oil pump gears and cranks sprocket...
