Ford Mustang GT500 Hot Water Bypass Kit by Fischer Motorsports

What I am trying to say is, if we all could get 85 degree air going in and an ultra efficient intercooler that would be better right? Rather than 140 degree air going in or ambient plus 20 until you have cruised down the highway for 5 miles.

Ford Mustang GT500 Hot Water Bypass Kit by Fischer Motorsports

What I would like is an IAT1 that matches ambient all the time or close to it. Going through a drive through at McDonalds and etc, I see temps as high as 140 on the gauge cluster. This is the temp measured by the MAF sensor, not after the intercooler, IAT2. A true cold air intake. Don't know...

Here is a thread with more information about the system. https://www.svtperformance.com/threads/who-is-it-that-modifies-the-intake-manifold-intercooler.1169046/

    Clutch Master Leaking Inside Car

@MG0h3 Thanks for the info. Not feeling any excessive pressure on the pedal. I will just replace the cylinder then. Seems odd this would wear out at 27k miles though, but I guess that's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes.

    Clutch Master Leaking Inside Car

I have to replace my clutch master cylinder and clean up the mess in the car. I was told by the mechanic that the master cylinder leak could be sign of a problem with the clutch causing high pressure in the system. Anybody have any experience with this? Thanks

for those that have done remote tuning

LOL, I know the feeling. OP, I went through Lund too and had some minor problems holding RPM. I think all they are looking for with that procedure is balance between the two O2 sensor reading on each side. I could be wrong though.

    BMR Lowering Springs Pics Please

Check this thread out 2013 Suspension . In that thread, I list the stock spring rates as well as the M-5300-L and Eibach Pro spring rates. The Eibach Pro springs are my favorite. They are variable rate and tighten up when cornering. The Eibach Pro springs lower the car about 1.25" front and...

Road Trip Report: R888R's In The Rain, 4:10's MPG

I hear you. I tried to emphasize that the tires are brand new with zero miles. I wouldn't have attempted this with worn tires.

Road Trip Report: R888R's In The Rain, 4:10's MPG

1Kona_Venom "The majority of 13/14 owners tires will dry rot before they wear them down to nothing." Not including the original Goodyears, this is my 4th set of rears for this car. Two sets of Michelin Pilot Super Sports and one set of R888s. I did open track the car 4 or 5 times with those...

Road Trip Report: R888R's In The Rain, 4:10's MPG

I went to autozone and bought a cheap tire depth gauge. New the tires are 6.3 32nds of an inch and I measured 6 32nds after 1277 miles. I have done zero aggressive driving with these tires so far. I had a set of R888s before this set and drove them aggresive often and I can tell you they were...

Road Trip Report: R888R's In The Rain, 4:10's MPG

Out driving today, I did notice they were louder than on my trip. The 4.10s at 80 mph and 2000 rpm make the exhaust a bit louder and I didn't notice the tire noise as much on the open road. Still not a problem for me at this point. Some sound deadening like dynamat might solve the problem. I...

Road Trip Report: R888R's In The Rain, 4:10's MPG

Front - MPSS 275/40/19 Rear - R888R 285/35/20 Gears: 4.10 Drove from Wichita, KS to Cedar Rapids, IA and back. The trip there was mostly in the rain with heavy rain at times. I actually pulled over twice to check out the radar to see what I was driving into. Didn't need hail damage. The drive...

    Stock Mufflers Getting Loud

Thanks for the replies. I don't mind loud, it was way louder with the longtubes on it a couple of years ago, I just don't like attracting attention. Yeah, I am getting older though. :)

    Stock Mufflers Getting Loud

It recently became my daily driver. I just couldn't pass up on the used car market prices. I sold my 2016 Jeep Cherokee for more than I paid for it 5 years ago.

    Stock Mufflers Getting Loud

I've had the h-pipe on for most of its 26k mile life. It just seems to be louder than it use to be. I like the sound of it though. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed it getting louder with miles.

    Stock Mufflers Getting Loud

I dunno about you guys, but my 2013 GT500 has 26K miles on it, and with a non-catted h-pipe it is getting loud. Only mod is the h-pipe. Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

2.4 pulley or underdrive crank pulley?

One more comment, thinking back on all the mods I have had, I would consider installing 4.10 gears before a pulley swap. There are countless threads on this subject within this forum. 4.10 gears make the car feel much lighter and much easier to drive in traffic. This makes perfect sense for...

2.4 pulley or underdrive crank pulley?

One thing nobody has touched on is using a crank saver bolt if you swap out the damper. I have an ATI 10% overdriven supercharger damper. It initially was installed using a new Ford OEM bolt. The OEM bolt eventually started to back out and fortunately I caught the problem before the entire...

    3.73 Gear

I've had both and prefer the 4.10s. The car feels like my old '88 GT as far as shifting is concerned but with 700 hp. The 4.10s are easier to drive in normal traffic situations.

Thinking About Getting A Custome License Plate

I can't take credit for this, I saw DVDT on a Corvette's plate back in the '90s and wondered what it meant, but then it dawned on me. Who can tell me what it means? It is probably in the google universe somewhere. So, no fair googling. I will give you a clue, it is very nerdy. I thought it...
