2011 GT with a VMP 3. Built (sleeved motor), etc... Car is a blast. Swapping to a Griptech 2.8 pulley 900/750. Fun street car with the T56. Get a VMP blower. You'll love the torque.
I think that the oil procedures are different when you are breaking in the engine yourself rather than it being done on a dyno. I'm pretty sure the rings seat quickly on a dyno. I imagine they would seat just as quickly if you did the same type of WOT hits on the street. Maybe even quicker due...
Hey guys, man have I had issues with my KB168 throttle body. My first tuner was unable to get it to idle right and keep it from going into fail safe. Then the next tuner got it and was able to fix the fail safe issue, but it still hangs at 1500 rpm once you got WOT, so i'm going back to the...
I was also able to shift the MT82 faster than my T56 mag. Just put a MGW in it, and the shifts are real crisp now and less effort is required since it's a bit longer that the T56 shifter.
My car is making 930/740 now and really Thinking about going with 3.55 with my T 56 magnum 2.97. I’d like to get some hook in second. Shoot, I might even go back to 3.31s.
Here’s what I got. Step 9 has break in oil being used until 800 miles. Do your instructions require you to examine the oil filter? I am going to be following my instructions to the letter.
Your car is going to rip big time. How bad is the NVH with your k-member. I’ll also be getting my car back soon. It will have a UPR k memeber and a new upper control arm with a rod end bushing. Hoping the nvh isn’t too much. It’s a street car that it will likely never see the track.
Car made good power without leaning on it. It's on the 6 rib, 72mm pulley. Snapped a belt when the tuner let out, so I'm waiting on a billet tensioner to show up.
I heard about it the other day for the first time from John Hartman but wasn’t sure if you had it. I gave them a call today and was told $125 and quick turn around. Ill be doing it soon. Thank u. Hey can u post your graph. I’m going to find that article on your car right now.
Cool. Just had my motor built, sleeved etc, and swapped over to the Gen 3. On the 6 rib with the 72 it made 907/740 without leaning on it. However, it snapped two belts when he let out, so we are going to the VMP billet tensioner. Are you using the VMP Upper Fead Bracket? Upper FEAD Bracket...
It had a 2.3 Roush on the Gen 1 motor making 680/590. When I get it back from PBH it’ll have a sleeved motor, Custom Diamond pistons, and Manley billet rods. Tim ported the heads and did a valve job. Dude down the street broke the MT82 power shifting so it has a T56 Magnum (2.97) with 3.73.
