Replaced the 117k mile old pumps, installed MM arms and coil overs, and KMJ alt with Big 3 upgrade.
Keeping the daily reliable.

I just got done installing this unit. Everything was good to go for me BUT the fuel level sending unit which came broken and looked to be some of China’s finer junk. Fortunately the stock unit bolted right up.
I was kinda surprised at how good of shape my stock fuel socks were in. 117k on the...
Thanks Bob. I did the interior and some side splitters and rear bumper splitters. It seems to flow well with yellow.

I think painting it would look great. I CF coated mine.
The grill delete is still in production and can be had for about $40 from partsgeek or a Ford parts source

I sent them off to get carbon fiber skinned. I can’t recommend the place I sent them to for future referrals, but there are plenty of reputable shops that do it for about $150-$200.
Dropping them off in the ol mail is a sobering experience though. I ended up buying a backup set before...
Thanks did not know that. If the stock injectors, albeit upsized, require a tune, what’s the point of vendors like Dyno Bob offering them?

03 cobra specific question in regards to Cali and emissions:
Can one upgrade their returnless system with GT pumps & upsized stock injectors (with a Whipple) on a stock tune for the purposes of passing emissions?
Obviously this is ONLY pertaining to passing emissions without having to yank...

I have ST40s 13” and really like them.
I do believe 13” is the largest you can go on stock wheels. I do not believe there is a dimension diff between the ST and Trophy line.
Here’s what ST40s on a 17 look like.

Thanks for the replies and what I was suspecting. The kicker is that it’s whisper quiet until warm. That’s what had me lost.

Clunk/Pop under my seat AFTER car is warmed up (20 min drives).

I have LED everything and a EP27 flasher module. No issues.
My first EP27 sh*t the bed and gave me similar issues. Replaced with another which resolved the issue. They are cheap POSs. May simply need to try another.

Swapped the shot trans mount for a stifflers, swapped in some programmable LED interior/trunk strips, and made some bumper side splitters (yes, the purists and old guys hate it, I get it).

Doing it myself. That being said, I recommend AK Carbon based on the FB reviews and the vids I have seen of her skinning challenging projects. She does have a 4 month wait list though.

I think they are just upgrading their website which was a bit antiquated. That being said, the demand for anything out weighs supply which has me looking to invest in CF skinning or fabricating supplies from here on out. I love CD, but waiting over a year for a part to pop back in stock for a...
I vote to make your own retrofits. Stock lights just don’t get it done. If you keep it simple, you can retrofit for under $400 and have a safe, modern, good looking setup.
Retrofitting is stupid easy. Just a few hours of arts and crafts.
Upgrading bulbs will get you halfway to what a good...
Wish I had seen that thread! That’s pretty sweet - much better than moving them into the stock housings.
