They had an anniversary event at Barber Motorsports.
I got an invite to bring some cars, but could not fit, getting them ready and showing up, in the schedule.
I was hoping some pics would show up, but so far, 0.
I feel sure, Ford had some reps there, and able to answer some questions.
Now I...
I use Tire and Wheel cleaner for Alum rims.
It does not fuzz up alum parts and is gentle on painted surfaces.
After drying spray with Honda Spray and Shine.
It is designed to be safe on all motorcycle surfaces, which includes rubber, paint, chome, alum, etc.
You can wipe it down or let it...
25 YEARS
Bought new, using X plan, I think it was $25K.
Put the KB on it somewhere around 2001.
Alum flywheel, driveshaft, 3.73 gears, Tri Ax shifter.
It made 445 whp on a heart breaker dyno.
I ran the KB tune and got talked into trying a Lund tune. No improvement. Both ran good.
Projected HP...
Leave the outside panel of the drivers foot box off. It will make working inside the foot box easier, ie installing sound and heat barrier, carpet, dead pedal, brake and clutch foot pad adjustments, just to name a few.
Ist one definitely had a gun, so he is first on the list. Second one took a good shot.
Guy had great gun control, hardly any muzzle rise and able to stay on target.
While on a vacationing, road trip with another couple, we stopped at a Quik Mart.
The sign at the corner said, Bonneville Salt Flats Track or something like that.
I was the only one interested and the others agreed to make the short turn, so I could say, I have been there.
As we read the history...
I think Goodyear is about the only U.S. made trailer tire available.
I just spent $811 on a set of 4.
My regular tire guy, screwed me, last set of tires he will sell me.
He did not balance tires and told me they were balanced. Old weights still on the back of the rims. He normally mounts...
Well, I saw the Tiger today. Bad news, it is not a Mk II. It is a Mk 1A, which makes it a 260. All the check points, confirm it is a Tiger.
It has a few pin holes of rust in the trunk and a few pencil size ones behind the drivers seat.
It has rack and pinion steering, running change as they...
Actually, I did. I have 2 sons, that will be the sole heirs of my toys.
I was just following up the conversation this morning with the elder. I was telling him, I just wanted to get it road worthy, so I could experience the drive.
I hope to take some action this month.
I have a car hauler...
I could not do this, but with your high desire, the Cobra would have to exceptional in every way.
I have a 99 Cobra with a KB supercharger, alum flywheel, drive shaft, 373 gears, cat back, etc and a 13 GT500.
I can agree the the 99 Cobra is nimble, easy to drive, does everything, but out run...
Guy is trying to sell me his Sunbeam Tiger.
It has been sitting in his basement for over 10 years.
Was running when parked.
Is a Mark II, 1967.
Flex brake lines have collapsed, has new ones.
Convertible top only, I think.
Unrestored.
Not wrecked.
Cam has been changed to mild street, flat...
Maybe I am missing something. Piece of crap owner? filming the dog getting killed.
Cat had death bite on the wind pipe. Dog was very lucky, no thanks to person.
Motorcraft is fine. Lotsa guys like Royal Purple. Wait until you get axles in, before filling. I think the fill level is about 1/4 inch below the fill plug. That is the plug at the bottom of the axles, level.
I have read, some used the upper plug, which can be used to fill, but not for...
Use a floor jack, couple of short 2X4s and some ratchet straps, some long tapered punches or line up bars.
You can make your own line up tools with some long bolts, ground down to a point.
This allows you to tap them in with a hammer. The point will align the holes as they go in.
