Those are mufflers and those engines run on methanol which burns cleaner than gasoline. You couldn't run cats on those engines because they would burn them up in no time and that is not a consumable item they are willing to spend on. Not all the trucks have the 4 into 1 header either, some...
That thing is begging for more cam and better heads, forged crank and boxed bridge rockers are good but the rods and pistons look like weak links. Would like to see a shot from the intake opening to the valve, looks like the port is stood up which would support power past the 6500 in the video.
When I had mine I also had bicep tendon tear and I split my bicep and I had surgery in Oct. and was released from physical therapy the following Feb., my dad had rotator cuff surgery and I think he was good to go 6 months after, but he was in his mid 60's at the time.
The rear control arms are the extreme series, the coilovers have less than 1k miles on them. After I did the suspension swap the engine let go from the previous owner spraying it and it destroyed the rings.
Phil Remington was just as important as any of them, he was the reason they could change the brakes quickly.
I remember in 1 interview where Carroll Shelby said a GT40 with a full fuel load was around 4k lbs. which is why they kept killing the brakes.
Great movie took my wife and sons to see it, I know Hollywood has to make a movie entertaining but I just wish they would keep the events accurate at least. Miles was driving at Le Mans in 65, it was his car that had the gearbox failure, I also wish they didn't make Ford out to be the villain...
I liked it, I took my sons because they aren't teaching them about WWII in school as much anymore other than Pearl Harbor. I enjoyed it, I don't care about the CGI stuff or any of that, what I like is they told it from what appears to be the point of view of those who were there as best they...
The simple answer is no, look at what Pro Stock does to see if a canted valve design isn't better, those guys leave nothing on the table. What makes it so good is opening to the center of the bore, air wants to move to bore center when the valve opens anyway, I've seen air make almost a 90* turn...
Depending on the type of sleeves you're doing, resleeving a coyote/4.6 mod is $2k avg, sleeving a block to correct a bore issue is a lot cheaper and will depend on the shop but $150-$200 for that job is normal. If you need sleeves for a coyote/4.6 mod I have a set of Darton's I'm not going to...
Yep just a "plain" Mystic, but if I can find a way to sneak a new GT500 in I will, but we still have 3 more kids to finish raising and it would be a bit to selfish of me to buy it now.
I'm jealous, a '00 R, Mystichrome, and now this? My wife told me this morning after sending her a review of the car to get one, she actually dared me which means "no", so I'll have to be content with my Mystic and a lowly '19 GT.
The car sounds impressive, I can still remember when the '00 Cobra R was the end all for factory race mustangs and 400hp was god send for a factory car, now we have cars like this.
Selling 99 Cobra heads and intake, intake comes complete with new Ford Racing 24lb injectors and is port matched to factory heads. Heads have mild port work done to blend the valve job and correct Ford factory machining and ported exhaust. Prices do not include shipping.
