Sup guys, went to the track last weekend and ran a best of 14.525 @ 95.49 in my stock '00. I kept spinning through 1st and the beginning of 2nd, only managing a 2.294 60'. What is the best (and cheapest) way to get the traction i need to go under 2 secs? Slicks? Traction bars? :??:

Anyone know where to get a CAI that will fit my 80mm MAF on my 2000 L? Would a new 90mm MAF and CAI need a chip or flash? :??:

A couple of guys at work have been building up this race...my stock 2000 L vs. a newer Lincoln Mark VIII. The Mark VIII will have CAI, Flowmaster exhaust, and a 3.73 rear end as far as I know. Who do you think should win?? I will post results whenever it goes down...:beer:

Im upgrading my 2000 L's intake and after a Single Blade throttle body, 90mm MAF, JLP Thunderpipe, and CAI or Ram-Air would I need a chip to handle these new mods? Or maybe a Predator? Thanks :beer:

Can someone give me a quick overview on chips? I understand the single program vs. flip chip. But I dont understand things like the predator. What would be the easiest way to go for a person who is new to chips? I would like a flip chip due to the fact that you can tune it back to stock....:shrug:

I know, who cares....but you cant really test it out to see what you want, so what tint should I go with on a Black L? Friends say go 5%, but visibility becomes an issue so I was leanin towards 20%. Anyone got pics of a black L w/ tint? :coolman:

Hey guys I am getting subs in the L and am looking throught the different options in enclosures. I saw the MTX Thunderform but they want $250 just for the enclosure :bash: . I went to the local audio store and he told me about the Pro Boxs at proboxrocks.com, has anyone tried any of these yet...

I see these cheap mods that say they will keep the blower under boost instead of dumping it at a certain point. Are these worth it or are these just another cheap scam? Also, if it is for real and worth it, will the prolonged time under max boost damage my engine? Thanks guys :??:
