Doc and I commented on the car when it was for sale back in 2016 HERE, might be a discussion of the car on this forum as well. I do remember the entire rear clip from "B" pillar back was replaced, not unlike the front clip my old #99 needed after the person I sold it to pushed the nose a few...
I've never purchased any of my cars with investment in mind. I've bought them as the toy(s) they are/were and because I wanted them, and could afford them at the time.
As for the 2004/2005 Ford GT's, yes, that is one of those should have, could have cars I thought I could buy a few years down...
You missed a digit on the kitchen
Although, the new 30x50 garage will cost just as much, so fair trade in my book ;)
And yes, I knew when I posted it :D
With all of the "special edition" Mustangs out there, do you think, without an actual race series for them to be "spec", that they would be anything more than the dust collectors like the modern GT350 "R" appears to be. Something to buy as an "investment".
Just my early morning thoughts on the...
Please don't, you have no idea what transpired with the potentially drug induced owner prior to JM. Playing cards under the clear coat, a true nightmare, the wild paint (20-25K worth) over the original paint. I attempted to remove it, layer by layer, but in the end, had no choice but to repaint...
Previous owner who commissioned the removal of the horrendous "joker" paint job. Was so embarrassed by the cars paint job he would only deliver it to my old shop after dark.

I use wheel dollies to squeeze 4 cars into a 2 car garage, no lift, all on the floor. JM (another ex-95 R owner here) has been over as he too could not believe it.

Not that I really need to explain it in great detail, but I'll give you a fairly benign response without crossing the line of privacy, or maybe even a NDA or two. I've spent enough time in and around the automotive industry since 1980, worked for, and owned my own businesses, some production...
If you know how inventory like this works with Ford, Ford uses, in any given year, 30-40 or so "test vehicles". Some are simply used for sound testing of a new radio or speaker combination, headlight changes, or combinations, some even for sound deadening. What each of these has, is...
Based on items not in line with a drivetrain or emissions test vehicle most likely seen in the pictures is what labels it a fake (items not to be spoken about in public, so as to not allow the next owner to make it closer to what it should be if it was an actual prototype/drivetrain test...
Tom,
Unlike what Gary had posted back in 2010 during the restoration of the car (CLICK HERE) believe the car was restored to stock, meaning the cage, race seat, and Kenny Brown suspension items were removed. The entire nose was clipped back to the firewall using a "donor chassis".
