I am new to lightnings and i just noticed that my 1999 has the exhaust coming out the drivers side and passenger side! Is this correct or is it modified?

i just bought my first lightning and it has 100,000 and it has CAI and after market exhaust, not sure what else was done to it. it runs fine from idle to 1/2 throttle and then when i go from 3/4 to wot it skipps and stumbles bad and the boost pegs out way above 10 psi on the stock gauge...
