    Baby needs new shoes

Our non-R threw a shoe last night so it's time for new tires now. Used Nitto Invo on our GT and the handling was super but sizes are not right for the non-R If I spec the R with 305/30 19 and 315/30 19 they are available. Or, I can spend more $ and go back with the factory Michelins. The car...

    Brake Dust

Anyone else notice a quick buildup of dust on the wheels? (Sorry, not rims - I'm old school) Ours has only 6K on the clock but seems like there is a large amount of dust that builds up pretty quickly. Anybody have luck installing different pads?

Funny thing happened working with Lund on a tune

Installed the N Gauge and ran the datalog for the new tune from Lund and they were able to find that there was a 15% difference in fuel trims between Bank 1 & 2. Brandon said it looked to him like it was an exhaust leak on Bank 1. HE WAS SPOT ON! Put it up on the rack and found a crack in the...

    It pays to have Cousins!

As I said in previous post, the car was tuned at Dallas Mustang and showed 503 HP at the wheels, but we don't have the tuner or the stock tune. Talked to my cousin at the dealership and we will change the oil at 5,000 miles using Amsoil 5w 50 and then watch it for consumption. There is an...

    Best SCT tuners?

Well I've finally decided the best route since the tuner is gone and the company is out of business.I already have a Live Wire used to tune my truck and since it runs perfectly and the truck is out of warranty, I will leave that tune in it, unlock the Live Wire and use it to put a good safe tune...

    Tune dilemma

Was able to reach out to the previous owner to get some history on our new to us 17 GT350. He said the original owner was the attorney for a North Texas Ford dealer who sold it and bought a GT350 R. Second owner is a city manager for a town in North Texas - only those two had driven it and it...

    Stupid white letters?

OK so the PO put large white letters on the tires which look pretty silly to me. Haven't crawled under it yet, but does anybody know if I can have the tires dismounted and swapped so the back side (now) would be facing out? Tries peeling the letters off but it's definitely a no go!

    Well she got it!

2017 Chasis # H4340 with 4,015 miles. Kooks long tubes & X pipe, JLT cold air, Dyno tuned by Dallas Mustang, R lowering springs and lots of blue stuff in the interior. Not sure if I like the big white lettering on the tires, but then I'm old. And remember, the wife will be 68 next month! She's a...

    2017 GT350 for the wife

Since my wife has had many Mustangs including her 17 GT (6 speed manual & Recaro seats) she has now as well as an 09 and a 12 GT500 she has the wants BAD for another Shelby. Mind you, she is 67 years old! I'm looking at pulling the trigger on a 17 GT350 for her at the dealership where my son is...

    F'n New Guy

New guy here to Raptors. Swapped my 02 Harley truck for an 11 Raptor. While I will miss the HD, keeping an 11 year old truck running as a DD with significant mods is just not practical when I need 4X4 to get to work no matter what. Had an 08 King Ranch 4X4 - but this is light years ahead of...
