Anyone have experience with Ford's extended warranty on a Shelby? Ford is offering a 6 year/100k mile warranty for $4400. I know sometimes these prices are negotiable and coverage headaches can vary with the dealer/rep. But curious what others have experienced with claims on these. Thanks.
My brother-in-law has been trying to find a new non-CFTP at anything near MSRP without luck. No surprise there. Today he text me an ad hear him for a 2020 non-CFTP car with 6,800 miles and three owners. My first thought was not a great deal considering the spec for a two year old car with...
The Next Ford Mustang: Everything We Know
I know it's likely nonsense, but was surprised to read this in an Automobile magazine article. I wish they would bring back the hatchback and keep the current size. That would make it much more usable.
After my last track day/weekend I started experiencing a rear axle noise that sounded much like a brake pad dragging on the rotor. But it's not the brakes and it sounds like it coming from the differential. Perhaps it's the pinion bearing but I'm familiar with the signs of failure here.
The...
This is why I'd be hard pressed to ever trust an autonomous vehicle. The systems are only as good as whomever is programming them. Being a programmer I have some appreciation of how difficult this sort of work is to perfect. Considering much of this programming is likely to be done by...
Wouldn't normally post a monitor suggestion here but since many of us spend way to much time in front of one, thought it might be useful for some. I have purchased a variety of monitors over the years and by far this has been my favorite. Contrast and color accuracy are terrific, even without...
Even though it's geared toward the LS engines, I thought it was well worth sharing. Tom Nelson (Nelson Racing Engines) gets into a lot of good theory on engine efficiency and proper build techniques.

The real shame here is that every one of the idiots involved will still keep their jobs regardless.
Couple of weeks ago I saw these on a set of lights for sale in the market section. Didn't even realize they existed prior. Seems pricey for what you actually get but they are well made and fit perfectly.

Family member is looking at a 2007 Montego (basically a Ford 500) with the 3.0 Duratec , CVT trans and AWD. Car has just under 100k. Anybody have opinions on this car or known issues we should look for? I took a quick look online and didn't see anything overly concerning. Thanks in advance.
Hopefully not a repost, I searched the pub and didn't see anything.
Goal is 100,000+ signatures by May 31st so the White House will respond/investigate officially.

Any suggestions on where to stay in or near Portland? Wife would like to stay somewhere near the coast or one of the islands near Portland. I've never been so looking for suggestions on where to stay in the area, good restaurants and other sites worth finding along the way up the coast. Will...
Any suggestions on concrete mix/additives when pouring a new garage floor? My contactor looks to have prepped everything pretty well with the stone, wiring, vapor barrier, etc. He suggested using 3500 psi with fibers added to the mix. I wanted to add some color and/or epoxy to the mix...
Kenwood iDataLink Ford SYNC and GM OnStar Solutions - YouTube
Historically not a fuge fan of either Kenwood products or the aftermarket installs kits for 2010+ Mustangs but this was interesting. It keeps the display up top and also provides a custom screen where typical ODB2 data can be...
Went to Track Daze event with a friend for two days at NJMP (Thunderbolt course). First time with this car on a road course and first time ever at NJMP.
Observations:
-Heavy car, late apex most corners seemed to work best.
-Motor has pretty of power everywhere for a typical track day...
Did some searching but not coming up with a clear answer.
To those who have swapped in front lowering springs did you trim the stock bumpstops, purchase new ones, or just leave the stock ones alone? I'm installing Steeda springs and Koni Sports and not sure of the best path to take here...
