I have all the parts (True-trac diff, R&P, master kit, oil) sitting on my bench. Car is on a lift and I have a very good selection of hand tools, pullers, a press, etc... . Is this a DIY for someone that isn't in a hurry or should I take it to a rear shop? I'm all in except for special Ford...

I popped off the fill plug and nothing came dribbling out...though I move it around a bit from side to side and there was definitely oil in there. Are they supposed to come from the factory pre-filled (over the parts counter)?

Ford parts can't seem to help...looking for the locking pins that hold the shifter arm to the trans...if You've installed an aftermarket shifter, such as the MGW, you'll know the goofy ones I'm talking about (you put a punch in a hole and release the tab and it pivots up). Anyone have the PN?
