Probably no surprise to anyone who has already gone through this, but if anyone is doubting a hard clutch could be because of a cable I am here to tell you otherwise. I am hoping I can convince you to spend the $150 and get it fixed.
I was having the same issues with my clutch pedal effort. So...
Since I installed my new clutch last year I have had an intermittent squeak. Today it was finally nice enough that I could get look at what was causing it. It seems that the pressure the flywall adjuster is pushing onto the firewall is what is causing it to squeak.
When I push in the clutch...
So had my clutch changed and didn't notice that the tech that installed it didn't use the newly installed firewall adjuster. I set it and was happy yet now everytime I depress or release the clutch I get a squeaky noise. Car does not have to be on and doesn't change regardless if it is running...
Finally needed a clutch at 100,000 miles (170,000 km). The pilot bearing was the only real indicator. Decided on the ACT FM3-HDSS as I dont expect to push more than 600 in the next few years. Bought the BBK Clutch Cable as it was $100 and while in there may be a good time to replace it. Once it...
For sale are two flowpro twister mufflers. Have about 1500km on them. Went with a different exhaust setup and have these left over. Bought at Carline about a month and a half ago. Still have the receipt if you want to see. Great shape brand new, never run in snow or salt. Cut off by Carline's...
Didnt want to waste a thread so this was a good place to put the shots Cosette and I took on the weekend!
and this sign says 'fuel efficient vehicles only' well it is if you are comparing it to my truck.... ;)
Squeak on a 2003 Cobra. Throw out bearing? Belt? Exhaust Leak?
Bought my car last year. Had a loud belt squeak. Ordered the proper sized belt (per the belt guide) put it on and no more squeak. I took it out today and it sounds like it is starting again. I havent even put 3500 miles on the car...
This is a weird question I know, and I must say I am not an idiot when it comes to cars, but this is my first 500+ HP S/C car and I am curious about the longevity of the motor with my driving habits. She is a 2003 with 100,000 miles. Minor stuff done. Exhaust, intake, smaller pulley, MAF.IA...
My Cobra needs brakes. Turns out there are a few options out there :D. Since I have never done brakes I am thinking of doing rotors, pads, and a brake flush.
1.) NAPA (Like Parts Source). Performance Ceramic pads and cross drilled rotors. $475.
2.) Late Model Restorations. Hawks sports pads...
As the title says. I have a 2.93 upper, a 2# lower, a MAF.ia, K&N Filter, and a tune. All installed and runs nice.
I just put my overlay on and calibrated it using a compressor and gauge. Works great. I took it out for a spin and I cant get it to go over 10psi. I was expecting 14 or 15. I have...
I like my Borla exhaust but it is a little loud. Also our City has acquired a decibel camera where if you register over 96db you get a $200.00 ticket. :burn:
I want or need to change it out. I like the noise. It is a hair too loud when I start it up in the morning (worried about my neighbors)...
Since tomorrow (November 11th) is Remembrance day in Canada. I wanted to throw out my thanks to everyone who serves, not just in the CF (Canadian Forces) but all those who have and had sacrificing for your own country as well.

Sorry if this has been asked. I am looking which gauges to install in my POD and I am considering oil pressure. The stock oil pressure gauge that is next to the boost gauge. Does anyone know if it is a 4 setting switch like most vehicles (off, low, ok, high) or does it have an actual oil...
When I got this car part of the trunk was torn apart. Besides trying to put all the pieces back together I cant figure out where this piece of sound deadening goes.
Someone who has taken the truck/back seats apart please help me out!
Picked up a 2003 Terminator on Monday. Absolutely love it! Drove 1000km so far and that is working a lot already. Got a great deal on the thing and am so happy I pulled the plug. I went for a drive and totally missed my turn because I was so into the experience so I had to drive another 100km to...
