Having had both an 03 cobra and a GT500, it really all boils down the preference. For me I love the GT500 way more. To me it is far superior. But again preference. I would wait and get an 11 or 12 and recommend the TVS swap.
I would tend to agree but the setup I have is very simple. The tune they gave me dropped off at 5k and torque was not all that great it started to drop at 4 to 4500. My tune now the torque curve is flatter and builds power until 6k. The tune was fluff and just not to what i would expect from...
I know some tuners remote tunes are good. I have had personal experience with on specific tuner that has been mentioned here and they didnt want to listen or waste their time with me. Kept on telling me my fuel quality was bad went and had the car dyno tuned and it made 20 more rwhp and...
Thank you for this. The knock sensor was not pulling timing if anything it was -.25 above 5000 rpm. And only set at 16 degrees. Tuner I think has it set and will not let the knock sensor add up high. Below 5000 rpm knock sensor was adding 2.25 to 2.5 degrees for max of 18+ degrees
Thank you everyone. Keep the advice coming. I will replace the belt and tensioner.
The plugs are 3 weeks old and had only been driven on twice before dyno. They are TR6's gapped at .028 as requested by tuner. I sent logs in to tuner and he said this looks normal and if I want more to go...
Thank you so much for the info. I did notice some dust under the blower on the passenger side of the snout. Car only has 32,xxx miles so never thought of tensioner.
I am running the stock exhaust. Plan on getting kooks longtubes soon and was looking hard at VMP twin 67 mm throttle body.
The company doing the dyno did not put a gauge on it to see the boost. I listened for belt slip based off what I dealt with on my lightning. That this would slip pretty good when the belt got old.
I would not rule out belt slip but I did not hear any audible signs. I'm running a 90mm idler. I was thinking throttle body, spinning the blower too much. Possibly fuel but afr was good. Timing dropped at 5500 plus.
Sorry forgot to add the red line is baseline done in March around same temps humidity was around 60% on the same dyno with just the JLT and different tuner. Not sure who tuner was bought the car with jlt and tune.
I recently went to the dyno after adding a 2.5 pulley to my 2012 GT500 stock blower car. Only mods are a JLT 123 with the 2.5 pulley. I do have a triple pass H/E that will be going on soon. Temps that day were low 70's 26% humidity. My engine temp was around 165 at start and 195 at end of...
I have a set of racestars on that fit my 12 mustang. They are 15x10's with a 325/50 on them. They have a 7.25 backpacking. Will this fit the 04 lightning I'm about to get.
I am going to look at an 04 lightning out of state. It has 71k on it and already worked out pricing. It has a k&n fill, metro upper, bassani catback, Diablo tuner tuned by iq or id (tuned by eric sticker) on 20" Harley wheels. What are some pointers to look at.
what is the parameter to check on screen a/f for the x4. I wanted to check mine off the new tune I have. Also what is desired for a boss intake car with and x pipe and no headers.
Thank you everyone.
I am needing to replace my radiator next week. Found a crack in my stock one and leaking coolant. I am either going with the Boss 302 or Fluidyne. While in there would it be best to go with the boss 302 oil cooler. is it worth the extra money.
I wanted to thank Team Beefcake racing for working with me today to order some Racestars. He was a great person to deal with. Also an utmost professional and just an all round guy. I am very excited to get the racestars in and go to the track. Thanks again and I would recommend him to anyone...
After all the talk about if a cold air is worth it I decided to find out myself. I have a stock paper filter, K&N, and an Airraid CAI. All dyno runs were done within minutes of each other on the same day at Dallas Mustang with mid to low 50 deg temps with 80+ % humidity with 3 pulls for each...
