Thanks!, it's got space but still needs a good amount of work to compete with how nice a lot of the garages here are. Really needs work benches and storage shelves.
That's one future project is insulating and moving the wood stove from the house to the shop for heat in the winter (house has new HVAC so doesn't need the wood stove). As for the summer it's got a lot of windows and with the two doors open it stays bearable, warm but bearable.
Thanks, it's...
Recently purchased a new house. Everything still needs a lot of work but there is tons of room for current and future projects.
Shop is 80x49 not including the apartment on the side.

Then there is a barn that's currently just for storage with two levels and a...
Wonder how much sway they'll have at 15psi and lower. I don't have skinny's up front yet so will be running a full size front for now. Thanks, car pulls decent on the big end just haven't had luck hooking up through the 330'.
Thanks! Ok I’ll make sure to do that. Any suggestions or experience with a good starting point. 5-6 range. 6k seems high to me but I don’t have much of any experience with it.
Thanks. Turbo is a turbonetics 7868 on just an on3 forward facing kit with precision wastegates.
Thanks man! I really like the look as well, now I need to track down some used 17" aluma stars for the front lol. All I can find on them say they are wrinkle wall, I'd assume that means no to the stiff wall question but I'll admit I don't know much about tires.
Just got around to mounting my new slicks just in time for the weather to start cooling off so I can get back to the track. Hoping some people on here have used these and can maybe give some pointers on setup. Tires are M&H cheater slicks 26x11.50-16 mounted on 16x10" Holeshot holestars...
I didn't say they threw it on to add cost, I said it was part of the emissions strategy to heat the oil of quicker. There certainly is cooling being done once the oil temperature stabilizes but without the cooler there the oil temperature isn't going to rise to the point where you will see any...
I would just run the GT water neck like Tabres suggests. The cobra oil cooler is more there to speed up the time it take for the oil to heat up to help with emissions. So more of an oil heater than cooler, so I wouldn't expect there to be any issues ditching it.
Are you still running TR6's, I am thinking about switching to some iridiums like the tr55ix or tr65ix's. Also are your coils lower mile OEMs, I am thinking of buying some new or really low mile OEM coils to try and help mine out. My plugs are gapped even tighter than yours are and we ran out...
Not exactly, Caleb at CG makes an AC delete hotside that he says fits with the stock k. I haven't seen anyone run it but I spoke with him on the phone a while back and he said that was one of the options he offers. If you want to go that route maybe it's worth giving him a call to chat about...
My car made 700whp/680wtrq on 18-19 lbs of boost. We upped to 22lbs but ran into spark blowout. I'm running a turbonetics 7868 turbo with precision wastegates. UPR k member is decent quality and fit just fine, it is noisy though and no way it's as strong as stock. It's a drag race k through...
I have an on3 kit which is suppose to be about as close to a complete kit as it gets but it's not. The hellion is probably about your only option for ready to bolt in "complete" kit. With the amount of upgrades and fixes I went through with my on3 kit I wish I would have just done a cj fab hot...
Not sure on what other k's work, I'm sure any drag race k will come close. I still have my fogs but it took some cutting and bending to get them to fit. Even with On3performance being a complete kit you'll still be buying additional stuff. I really don't think there is a such thing as a complete...
MM K won't fit with the on3 gen II kits. Their kit is designed around the UPR drag race k member, which leaves a lot to be desired if you have any intentions other than drag racing. I have an on3 kit and if I were doing it again I would go CG Fab and never look back. Will be slightly more...
What Tabres said, actually there is a reduction in ignition system performance at high boost/rpm since the wasted spark ignition will be telling the coil to fire every compression stroke and exhaust stroke (wasted spark). Now the coils are designed in the 99+ application only fire on the...
I have stated value insurance through State Farm on my '98 cobra. It's considered a classic due to its age and not my daily so they allow it to be insured as such. Full coverage plus my stated value payout in the event it's totaled and it's only like 170 a year.
After a couple of years I finally broke down and tackled the wiring.
I ended up using my factory tail light harnesses with an added bulb that I pulled out of a junk yard harness. Goal was to not modify the interior body harness or plug at all, except to tap into the third brake light, so all...
