My JPC Racing line lock kit as been working great for 2+ years on my turbo mt-82 mustang. The polarity of the wires were wrong going to the diode, but one call to JPC and they told me to how to fix it. Besides that the install was easy. The lines are pre-bent for you, the tiny switch fits nicely...
I have the Fore system with the dual TI Auto F90000267TI pumps (E85 compatible), FC3 controller, F2i Fuel pressure regulator (after rails), ID1000s. I've been running this combo on my 2012 CPR turbo mustang for about 3 years now with 0 issues. I've only been running 93 pump gas but it says these...
It suffers some real bad wheel hop. I'm hoping all these parts will put an end to that. Nothing left to do but install them and play around at the track with the settings. No, I have a driveshaft shop aluminum one piece.
Well just got done ordering upper and lower control arms, relocation brackets, and a set of Viking rear adjustable shocks. Hopefully this help lower those 60ft times! Thanks for all your help, I'll report back with results once everything is installed.
Also I'm having trouble comparing the differences between rod ends vs polyurethane when looking at lower control arms. What's the best option for drag racing.
Thanks again.
BC racing coilovers, 7k front and 5k rears
Car is only about 1/2'' lower than stock
No lower control arm relocation brackets
No welded axle tubes
Honestly not too sure about the arm/pinion angle or how to even check that.
I appreciate all your input, what would you personally recommend as a...
Suspension mods are just coilovers and a BMR adjustable panhard bar. I usually run the tires anywhere between 12-16psi. I didn't really get to watch anyone else with slicks get to run since I was always in line to run or back at the pits adjusting tire pressure. Maybe I'll just try slipping the...
I currently have a MT-82 car with a CPR turbo setup. Car makes around 620 to the wheels and currently has some Hoosier QTP 28" tires. I'm having a hell of a time getting off the line with the 2-step. Anything below 3,500 rpms and the car just bogs and it seems like anything above that and I'm...
CPR Turbo here. Was told 3-4 month wait, waited just about a full year for all of the pieces to finally arrived. The fit and finish is beyond amazing. Everything fits like it should. The turbo has been on the car over 2 years now and I haven't had a single issue with the kit itself. The car made...
Getting a good launch and having to shift into 5th with these 3.73 gears is definitely slowing me down. Never thought I'd say I wish I went auto from the start.
I always liked the idea of buying a used longblock out of a crashed mustang or f150 and have that built to keep the downtime on my car to a minimum. Then sell my used long block to make back some of the money. Car is perfectly healthy I'm just getting bored of 650 horses haha. I like the RGR...
What's your power goals with the car? I also have a CPR car and I'm in the same boat. Not sure how I want to approach building the motor. My mindset is build it once so I don't need to keep taking the motor out add more things (like sleeves).
Not to hijack the thread but I'm in the same situation. I'm looking to make close to 1000 wheel hp and wondering what the best / cost effective way to do this is? My current motor is fine, has been making over 600hp for over 2 years now. I see full coyote mustang motors on craigslist for...
Worth the wait. I've had my kit on for almost two years and that turbo spool never fails to put a smile on my face. I use the e-boost 2 for my boost controller.
First time out on the new bias ply tires. Car went dead straight. Managed to do a personal best of 11.48 @126mph with a 1.74 60 foot. What tire pressure are you guys running? I went from 20psi down to 17psi and kept getting a tenth of a second faster. I was launching off the 2step around...
I left all the stock fuel lines in place. They aren't really in the way and no one looks under my car, only I know they're there. I have the same fuel system as you, been working great for 2 years.
That's a good time. I trapped close to 130 but only ran a best of 11.7....my 60ft times were embarrassing. I'm hoping to do 1.5s with the new tires. Let me know how the car does with the 2 step
Thanks for the input. I actually just got my QTPs in the mail today. I was looking to sell my last wheel setup but I guess if I want to drive on the road I should keep those as a spare set. I have 3.73s but I'm looking to swap those for 3.31s. I currently have a M&H skinny radial in the front...
