Had a 12 Boss, sold with 1900 miles & bought a SBY 13.
Autocross the car in SCCA SOLO Autocrosses, FS Class. It is a blast to race with the Red Key, has enough HP as handling is the key to AC.
Put a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 2's on - 295 rear & 265 frt. Very good grip, much better than stock...
I wanted 305's for the rear , but, was concerned they would rub.
Just went from 285 to 305 0n my 15 Vette & had rub on fender liner. Was able to clear it.
Will be racing the Vette with the PS2's this week & see how they do.
Toyo's are good tires.
I went up one width as that will keep me in the same SCCA class as stock.
Would have liked bigger , but, want to stay in FS Class.
Went to Milan Michigan Drag Strip today.
Best day ever there with the Boss, a 13.2 @ 111 mph.
No shift problems & good reaction time.
Usual prob with Pirelli's not hooking up.
Car is stock except for suspension mods.
Concrete surface and cool temps not good for traction.
Slid around runs 1& 2, dropped air to 35 which helped.
Corner tire wear looks like 35 psi was right on.
5 runs at MIS big lot, 43 to 55 sec runs.
Boss is a blast to race.
Thanks for the update.
Doing years 1st SCCA SOLO Sunday at MIS parking lot.
Will use previous 41 psi & 5 on shocks that has worked well in the past.
Update Monday.
Owner's Manual suggests 41.
I try to keep 41 all around for Autocross checking after each run and adjusting to keep 41. Sometimes will adjust front or rear up or down depending on how the car is handling. Race surface of course has an effect.
