I have aftermarket rails on mine with a gen2 whipple. a was able to remove the rails by horseshoeing them around the back of the super charger and taking the line off the passenger side and then pull the driver side rail with the line attached. not fun but beats removing the super charger and...
I honestly think you made the better choice. I had no issues with the bap but I had a fuel issue and to me it made diagnosing it a little more difficult. It ended up being a weak pump.
Bap’s in our cars are usually run wide open into the fpdm’s. The fpdm’s adjust how much voltage goes to the pumps. They will require tuning. I have run the kB 20.5 volt with no issues 25k+ miles. Currently running aeromotive stealth 340’s without a bap. The hat will require cutting and a little...
If you have outside wear it's more then likely toed in. To wear the outsides with camber would take a lot of positive camber to the point of the car handling quite bad.
It sounds like your wheel was loose as you were coming back on the return road. I have strange 31 spline axles and my left wheel fits real tight over the axle. I didn't realize the center screwed off as some type of hubcentric register. It sounds as though it's keeping the wheel from seating...
Do a voltage drop test between positive terminal and the alternator also between ground terminal and engine/ body etc.. try to do it running while there is a load on it also. Sounds like a bad connection/ground if all else is ok.. did this start after the alt or were you chasing voltage issues...
The braided line definitely improves feel. As for the resivior maybe you could source one from a auto get without the clutch tap? I believe they just pull out of the master cylinder (don't have mine in front of me to look at)
That's not bad at all (except it's your baby I know) much less invasive to push/pull and skim it. There would be more filler to do a door skin. He's doing the fender for a proper blend if he did a skin he would probably do the quarter too.
Is it a gash or a crease? A crease can be pulled and minimal filler used. 50/50 on a door skin if the guy is having a bad day or inexperienced you could end up with more filler then the dent repair.
