thanks guys. These are supposed to have about 55k miles on them . I know the terminator arms are supposed to have better bushings and ball joints…assuming they actually have 55k miles would you guys run them as is or would I be stupid to not do at least do new ball joints while they’re off the car?
well I picked them up on a whim because I knew they were supposed to be better than stock And were $75 for the pair…Car has subframe connectors, rear lca’s, uca bushings , steeda rear shock tower brace, koni str-t’s, b springs and most urethane bushings done up front other than control arms...
Thanks for the replies. I would be running these on a 97 cobra that still has the stock control arms in the front , basically just trying tot see if these are the upgraded versions . The only numbers I can see stamped on the arms are ‘8 22 02’ ‘9 04 02’ (dates?) and 091002. Appreciate the info
Hello folks ,
I picked up a set of front control arms locally for what I thought was a reasonable price. Could someone confirm (or not) that these are 04 cobra control arms? Thanks! I can add more pics if needed.
thanks so much for the info . I’d love to post up a couple pictures but can’t seem to for whatever reason . This kit was second hand with some one off parts and is draw through and would be difficult to change . If I delete the the driver side / stock pcv would I just be buying a fitting to...
Thats good to know , Im very much trying to avoid having oil sucked into to the blower. What did you end up doing? I thiiink the pcv does act as a one way check … not 100% though
Thanks for the replies. Are you suggesting blow through based on ease of tuning? its my first time going s/c and it would be a bit of a challenge to reposition the maf (ba2600). Given this situation , should I try and let the tuner work with the breather in place or run the drivers side to the...
Hello, the car is a 1997 cobra with an intercooled v1 t trim set up. Currently waiting on my base tune and haven’t started the car yet, but now second guessing the passenger side pcv routing . Drivers side is stock with a separator . I have a breather on the passenger side but second guessing if...
Ttt if anyone knows where to track this piece down I would greatly appreciate it. If someone even has the dimensions so I could try to have it machined I’d be very grateful, thanks!
Hello, I have a 97 cobra with a vortech t trim kit I’m installing. In one of the diagrams there is the idler spacer pulley and what appears to be a smaller spacer on the other side. My kit came with the longer idler spacer but not the shorter one. I can’t source one or find the part number? I’m...
