Stock-style motor mount replacements for GT500?

Yeah, they definitely need to update their online catalog. They list a 2014 5.8 shortblock for $6440.79 and a 5.8 block for $2541.50 -- and I believe both of these haven't been available for years.

Stock-style motor mount replacements for GT500?

My Tasca order was cancelled, so the OEM motor mounts are no longer available from Ford. Which returns me to my original question: any recommendations on a quality aftermarket replacement?

Stock-style motor mount replacements for GT500?

When I tried ordering through my local dealer, they cancelled the order, stating that the mounts were no longer available. But after seeing your post, I did place an order with Tasca. Thanks!

Stock-style motor mount replacements for GT500?

They may not be. I thought I had done a pretty thorough search for the OEM motor mounts and even tried ordering them from a local Ford dealer but was told they were no longer available. However, as SCGallo2 notes, Tasca still lists them on their website and I have placed an order. Should know...

Stock-style motor mount replacements for GT500?

I've got over a 110,000 miles on the current mounts and, since I'm going to be replacing my K-member anyway and planning a significant power increase on my rebuilt engine, I think it just makes sense to replace the old mounts now, rather than wait and have to do so in another ~10K-50K miles.

Stock-style motor mount replacements for GT500?

I'm replacing my stock K-member with one from Maximum Motorsports and am searching for stock-style motor mounts to replace the OEM Ford units, which are no longer available. I realize that there are poly 'washer-style' mounts that are available, but I want to avoid anything that increases NVH...

Looking for 3" catback exhaust that works with Dynatech headers and catted x-pipe

Unfortunately, no. The problem turned out to be the Dynatech x-pipe, which is no longer available. I think my only alternative is going to have something custom fabricated, which is going to mean $$$. Ideally, I'd like to have an x-pipe made with the Kook's greencats (Harris County, TX still...

Looking for feedback on MMR oil cooler kit or any other kit you've pieced together.

I’ve heard mixed reviews about the efficacy of the MMR GT500 oil cooler (which has -10AN fittings) in track applications. I don’t plan on doing more than a dozen autocrosses and a few HPDE events a year and would appreciate some feedback as to whether the MMR kit would be sufficient. I’d also...

    WANTED: Dynatech 3-inch mid-pipe for a 2007-2010 GT500

Looking for a new or lightly used catted (PN: 722-64320) or non-catted (PN: 722-64330) Dynatech 3-inch mid-pipe for a 2007-2010 GT500. Any leads appreciated. Thanks!

    Any issues transplanting a 2013-2014 GT 500 engine into a 2007 GT500?

The Ebay engine does have the stock rods, but it has good compression and only 8.5K miles on it, so it seems in good shape. I don't plan on spinning the motor any more than 6500 rpm and my horsepower goal is fairly modest (700-725 rwhp), but I'll probably go with a built 5.8, just for the added...

    Any issues transplanting a 2013-2014 GT 500 engine into a 2007 GT500?

You're probably right about sole sourcing both the shortblock and heads. If I go that route, the only additional things I plan to do are the bolt-ons (supercharger, injectors, CAI, etc.) and the installation. My understanding is that the 5.4 can't be overbored to a 5.8 unless it's sleeved --...

    Any issues transplanting a 2013-2014 GT 500 engine into a 2007 GT500?

Staying with my 5.4 is certainly something I've thought about. It's not burning oil and has decent compression. But there is currently a 5.8 on Ebay with just over 8K miles that the salvage yard (with an excellent reputation) has confirmed is in good running condition with good compression and...

    Any issues transplanting a 2013-2014 GT 500 engine into a 2007 GT500?

Since the car will spend 90% of its time on the street, my plan is to stick with 93 octane -- so I want a tune that's conservative enough that it will minimize the chance of detonation. But I agree, the 5.8 and 2R should give me all the power I'm looking for.

Thanks, J -- I'll definitely keep that in mind.

    Any issues transplanting a 2013-2014 GT 500 engine into a 2007 GT500?

Thank you, 2011 gtcs -- I would have missed this if you hadn't pointed it out. No, I haven't purchased the 5.8 yet -- still totaling up the potential cost of buying a salvage 5.8 vs rebuilding my current engine -- perhaps with a 5.8 shortblock.

    Any issues transplanting a 2013-2014 GT 500 engine into a 2007 GT500?

And I should clarify my concerns about transplanting a 5.8 into my 2007. I know that it will physically fit and that the parts I've been stockpiling will work on it just fine. My concern is whether there are any incompatibilities between the sensors and electrical connections of the 5.8 and...

    Any issues transplanting a 2013-2014 GT 500 engine into a 2007 GT500?

My horsepower goal is ~700-725 rwhp, preferably achieved at no higher than 6500 rpm. My 2007 has over 100,000 miles on it, so I'm hesitant to stress it to that level. I already have a VMP 2R with a 2.4 inch pulley, a Super Cobra Jet wide oval throttle body, a Cobra Jet 123 mm CAI, a set of...

Recommendations for a roller engine cradle?

Many thanks, I'll check them out!

Recommendations for a roller engine cradle?

Any recommendations for a good roller engine cradle for a 5.4/5.8? Most of the engine cradles I’ve found online are engine specific (i.e., small block Ford and Chevy) and I know nothing about the ones that claim they’ll fit a Ford modular block.

    Any issues transplanting a 2013-2014 GT 500 engine into a 2007 GT500?

I would, if the budget wasn't a constraint. But if I can pick up a low milage salvage yard 5.8, it will save a ton of money in comparison to buying a 13/14 outright. Besides, I bought my 2007 new and there is an emotional component to refurbishing and updating it (i.e., suspension, brakes...

    Any issues transplanting a 2013-2014 GT 500 engine into a 2007 GT500?

Are there any issues associated with transplanting a 5.8 from a 2013-2014 GT500 into a 2007 GT500, if I strip off all the 2013-2014 electronics from the later block and install it with the 2007 controls? Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Looking for 3" catback exhaust that works with Dynatech headers and catted x-pipe

I have a 2007 GT500 that I'm planning to add Dynatech headers and catted X-pipe to. My question is: will any aftermarket 3" GT/GT500 catback exhaust mate up with this header and X-pipe combination? Currently, I'm running a stock exhaust with KR mufflers and I really like the sound. If...

WANTED: Looking for a new or low-milage VMP Gen 2R

Yes, I did. It was a used one from one of the forum members. At one point, Jegs listed the 2R for sale but, when I tried to order one, they sent me a notice that the 2R was no longer available.
