My car was “supposed” to be a golden ticket car at MSRP too. All it took was two phone calls from my dealer and they changed it so that I could order the car exactly the way I wanted it. I wish I could’ve ordered the golden ticket but couldn’t swing it financially at the time.

So run #1 (which we can assume is stock) you get 525 rwtq and 673 rwhp. Run #3 (which we can assume is modified with your intake) is 517 rwtq and 626 rwhp. Huh? Please explain. Nice job explaining the "gains"? Unless you're telling us run #1 was modified vs run #3 was...
I think they both look great to be honest. It would definitely be a rough choice if I were in the market for a grey one.

I figured it out. The low battery was causing the CEL. I wired a battery tender to the battery so I can close the hood. Gave it a good charge overnight and the CEL went off.

So for three days when I get home from work, I’ve started the car, let it run and the CEL is still on. All the other electrical issues have cleared out. I wonder if I do a complete redo and disconnect the battery, if that would clear out the CEL.
I think a lot of people stayed away from Kona because it’s an “old” color. But in person, it looks incredible on this car. My two previous Shelbys, Kona would’ve been my last choice but for this one, I wanted the darkest blue I could get to mimic the muscle cars from the 60’s. I was stuck...
I’ve had my car in winter storage for about a month and went out yesterday to start it up. The battery was stone dead. So I read the manual and think I did everything correctly. Now the CEL is on and the traction control stays off all the time. When I first started it yesterday after charging...
Absolutely worth a shot! That’s impressive!
Question, could you explain your launch technique please? Do you set the rpm on launch control and mash the gas or do you just get the rpm just above the launch rpm and go? Or do you turn everything off and do it all yourself?
Where there is power to be had, would be someone designing a small little air conditioner that could fit under the intake and shove ice cold air into the intake. Hahaha
I went and bought everything I needed to seal off the open filter against the hood. As I was shaping and forming everything, it dawned on me. What good is this doing? Of course the car will make more power with the hood open and the filter exposed. It’s instant colder air rushing in. If I put...
I’m gonna buy Frost King 1/2”X 6’ pipe insulation at Lowe’s to seal the intake box against the hood to help combat the hot air getting into the intake. I found a pic of another guy that used it and it looks good.
This thread convinced me to pull the stock lid. Even if the VMP video is only half right, a 35 rwhp gain for a cost of zero is worth doing. I almost bought the JLT but glad I found this video.
I finally got a chance to out some miles on it. The car really does feel lighter on its feet. The steering feels lighter but I think the PS2's add a little feel of tramming that the PS4's didn't have. I have never driven a carbon track car, but I have to think it would probably feel similar...
From my understanding, it’s the only tire changing machine that is guaranteed 100% to not touch the lip of the wheel. I’d never let anyone with a regular machine touch wheels this wide.
