I have a '14 Stage 3 Roush, track pack, 3.73 Torsen rear, 6spd.
Last year about this time I found a Roush Phase 3 (675 HP) upgrade kit on Ebay for about $1200 (Black Friday sale?). Today (a year later), I took it to the closest Roush/Ford dealer and had the kit installed for $450.
When the car...
About time.. You can't even get a manual in a pickup truck anymore.. People would rather play with their phone than shift gears.
7 speed Corvette owners have stated that 7 manual gears may be overkill though.
Note to Ford: GIVE US A ****n V-8! And don't tell me how a 6 or 4 banger is just as...
Ford pulling out a classic name tag again and slapping some stripes and "Mach1" logos on it to help sales.. Who would have thought Mustangs regularly going over $50,000? No longer a car for the average person. After 5 years of the S550 it still hasn't grown on me. The '19 Bullitt was ok...
Can't...
Going to install the 675HP kit on my 14 Roush, and wondering if the head cooling mod can be installed from underneath the car?
Pulling the blower and intake is not something I want to do if I can avoid it...
Thanks for any input.
SOLD!----I got this with some other stuff I bought and don't need it. The manufacture date on the tag is 9-24-12... I believe it's the correct REAR SEAT upholstery for 11- 14 GT 500.
$150 Shipped in the 48 States.
Depends what the goal is.. If you want to 'beat' everybody then you need big power. For me, I just want a strong beautiful car to take out for a Saturday cruise or car show. And yes the C6 styling doesn't even compare to the C7 (my 2c).
BTW- quoting HP numbers and not P/W or torque or gear...
I've been eyeballin' a 17-19 Grand Sport. I'm a Ford guy, but the Vette is a whole different class than the Mustang.... And a world class supercar that can be had lightly used for well under 60K.
This is not 'Grabber Lime". It looks more like a color that was called "Lime Gold".
Grabber Lime was a 1 year color in 1971. There was a very similar color for 72 called Bright Lime, but it was different.
Grabber lime is below...
Here's some pics of the old 30x40 barn that was on my property. It was built around 1930. The old fella who lives across the road told me how his grandfather owned all this land and farmed here. He remembers his grandfather's saw mill and how they drug logs out of the woods with the big plow...
The slab is 5", with 8" at the center aisle post locations. The perimeter has an 8" x 18" deep footer, and the whole thing is laced with 5/8" rebar...
Yeah to what you're thinking- it was crazy expensive to get this foundation done. I'm not even mentioning the excavation just to get a flat spot...
Putting up a 40x60 Monitor style barn. It will be built with heavy post and beam rough-cut Southern Yellow Pine framing. The concrete is down so far... I fly a MEDEVAC helicopter and was lucky enough to be in the vicinity when they were pouring concrete... This has been my dream for 30 years...
I've found a few posts where guys modify the brackets to mount S550 seats in a S197. I could do that, but it seems kind of clunky. Has anyone has re-mounted the S550 seats on the actual S197 base frame? I know its do-able but I've not had the chance to see what the seats look like underneath...
