I originally bought this because I didn't have clearance with my suspension setup to get my oil filter on and off easily. That's not a concern now, so selling this relocation kit. I used it for 1500 miles.
It will work on the 4.6 and the 5.4. It is in good, used condition. I had it mounted...
So, not interested in debating whether the gas testing kits are better, as I've already installed the sensor. Just curious if what I'm seeing is normative.
I have the Aeroforce sensor going to an analog input of my Interceptor. Right now, I'm not driving the car because of salt on the roads...
Recently got a Bandpak 2-post, asymmetrical lift. BendPak XPR-10AS Two Post Lift, 10,000 Lb. Capacity, Asymmetric
Mixed reviews on the lift, but that's a discussion for another day.
Anyway, though the lift has "low profile" arms and contact pads, it is still 1/2"-3/4" too high on the front...
Looking to put GT500 Mufflers on my 08 GT . . . Got headers and going catless, so I'm afraid aftermarket mufflers will be too loud.
Shipping might make this cost prohibitive given the relatively low value of the mufflers, but let me know if you have some and maybe it will work out. I'm located...
Lots of SC oil change threads that center around sucking the oil out through the fill plug.
But, on my VMP Gen3, when I remove the fill plug, there are innards that are blocking any way I could possibly get a syringe tube in there. There might be 1/16" of room.
How is the oil changed out on...
This will work for 07-14 GT500 spark plugs and allows for easy gapping of HTO plugs.
Unused. I needed a different tool for my 07 GT.
$20 shipping to conus.
Kenne Bell Boost A Pump. Used without issue - taken off only because I'm going up to a bigger fuel system where no BAP can be used.
The "level" controller is gone - the two wires are soldered together and shrink wrapped so that it's at 100% all the time .... which is where almost everyone sets...
Putting in a Brenspeed B326 into my 2008 Mustang GT. My question: The original OEM motor had provisions for two knock sensors in the top of the motor (see first picture), and there are two sensors on the wiring harness. The Brenspeed B326 has a spot for only one sensor (second pic).
How do I...
I had this McLeod kit installed on a Magnum XL and 4.6 OEM motor, and I used it for only 2000 miles. As you can see, the disks and flywheel look very good. Never raced or abused. No problems with it .... I upgraded the motor to one with an 8-bolt crank, and I just elected to do a different...
This Moroso tank was used briefly and it in great shape. I changed out the cap for a red one. $200 plus shipping/fees.
The catch can is a little older but still in good condition. $85 plus shipping/fees.
and I have a Prosport sandwich adaptor that goes under the filter and allows up to 4...
I've had these on about two years.
Condition: Good. On one of the coil hold-down holes, it got stripped and had to be retapped. The retap took and holds the coil bolt to the specified torque, but it was ugly and I never trusted it . . . so I put a nut on the other side of the coil hold down...
These were used for a little over a year (less than 3k miles). Worked great and look great.
Selling only for aesthetic reasons; I'm changing things up in my engine bay and want to return to black coils.
These will work for the 2005 through early 2008 Mustang GTs (old head style).
Were $270...
This alternator will fit any 05-08 Mustang GT. It is a bolt-on upgrade to the stock alternator, though you will want to increase the size of your alternator power cable to handle the increased juice. A great upgrade if you have aftermarket amps, lights, fans, etc.
Put on my car in the fall of...
I put these both in during the summer of 2018 to cool my Kenne Bell in my 2008 GT. It's a garage queen, so less than 3k miles were put on them. The HE includes the 05-10 Mustang wiring harness from VMP. Will work on the GT500 as well . . . only the length of the relay trigger wire needs...
SOLD
These were used less than 1500 miles. Never tracked. Selling because I'm moving down to a 3.55.
Comes with the used pinion nut, but you'll need to pick up a crush sleeve.
$80 plus shipping.
Once you get into the 800RWHP range, are there any cats we can use and be confident they won't melt down or break up?
I'll go catless if I have to, but would love to find a universal cat I can weld in.
This is the Taylor 200 series, #48200. I bought it to relocate my battery to the trunk, but eventually abandoned the idea. It is unused.
As you can see, it still has most of the protective film still on it from the manufacturer. I only peeled it away where I mounted a fuse holder and a Littel...
So, I began exploring the idea of converting my boosted 4.6 to E85. As a newbie, I wanted to educate myself.
In my area, only Sheetz sells the higher ethanol content stuff. Problem is, the pumps only say it can be 51-83% ethanol content. Apparently, that is consistent with labeling...
I am relocating my battery to the trunk. I know there are lots of threads on that. But, what size fuse should I use on it? Can't find a definitive answer.
I have a PA Performance 215 amp alternator, so I have it fused at 250 amps.
So, should the battery be higher (300 amps?), or should I...
Can someone with access to Ford parts confirm something for me? An online search didn't help.
Are 7R33-3E525-BA and 7R3Z3691B for the same part?
In theory, they are both the power steering pump to reservoir hose on an 05-09 Mustang. But, the first number appears 12+ years old, so I can't...
Hello,
Just installed the Pedders coilover kit and BMR 5-way adjustable front sway bar on my 2008 GT. Also did a bunch of BMR stuff in the back, but I don't think that will matter here.
As you can see, the car got aligned really well. But, it is clear to me the driver's side wheel is tucked...
2008 Mustang GT with Kenne Bell Stage 1, Kooks Longtubes, high flow cats.
In Nov 2017, I had it dyno tuned. The tuner set air/fuel at 11.7:1 at WOT. A few months later, I installed an Innovate wideband sensor and ran it to an Aeroforce gauge. It confirmed 11:7:1 at WOT.
So, I set the...
So, I HATE HATE HATE the look of the evap canister hanging under the trunk on my 2008 3V. Looks like a full diaper. Plus, later this summer, I'll be installing a bunch of red BMR suspension, so I want to see it better.
But, my tuner has expressed reservations with tuning the EVAP out. He...
So, I'm back in the game after a 5 year hiatus.
I bought a low mileage 2008 Gt with the 5-speed TR3650 and a Kenne Bell SC. It has a Spec Performance Clutch and a Hurst Shifter.
Here is my concern.
The tranny takes alot of force to change gears. I had chalked that up to the Hurst, but then...
