I have the 2.8" with the Apten. I have been itching for a little spray. Will I be safe for 30-50 shot with the mods. I also have the Predator if I need to back off timing or add fuel. Any input?

Well I took the Cobra to National Trail Raceway yesterday and as I knew I would I had terrible traction problems. The stock F1's aren't good at the track. I only ran twice, 12.3 @116mph and 12.4@118.
60' times were 2.1 and 2.3. I wanted to see quicker times with my mods and almost 500hp...
Someone has got to come up with an idea to keep these suckers cool!! Especially with a pulley mod, WOW that Eaton gets hot quick!
Within minutes of normal driving my Eaton is too hot to touch! I even have the Gords HE....which by the way is cool to the touch even when the Eaton is burning hot...
Ok so I have the top down tonight and its kinda cool out. I turn the heat on full blast on the freeway and WOW it was burning my skin HOT! My temp guage was normal, but this heat from the vents felt so hot I thought I was overheating! I got home and got my digital temp gauge for testing a/c...
Ok I can get a set of 04' chromies with 315 nittos on the back and F1's on front. The nittos have about 300 miles on them with no track runs. The F1's have about 1,000 miles on them along with the wheels. He is also throwing in the stock rear F1's that have 300 miles all for $1,500.......good...

Any input on more HP in my engine with the mods listed below? I did NOT have my tune modded after my Apten install. I wanted to hit closer to 500hp. Should I see if James from RWTD can find some more HP? Or do I need a throttle body?

Wow what a great time, we had a nice turnout, nice HP #'s, nice weather and NICE CARS!!! I was wanting a little more HP out of mine but I cant complain. Best run was 485.6 RWHP(SAE) and 460 RWTQ(SAE)
My blower got heat soak QUICK due to a busted HE. Anyway...
The instructions from Apten say to remove the lower intake bolts (gold) however, from all the pictures i've seen it looks like they are still in place...do they need to come out? Or is it just the top (silver) ones?
Anyone else feel like they might have lost some Tourqe with a non catted x-pipe? I have UPR x pipe and stingers, and I swear I lost bottom end TQ. Is it just the lack of back pressure maybe?
Ok I am starting today on the Apten upgrade. I am sending my unit to them because of the low mileage on my car. Just looking for any tips on the removal of the blower. It doesn't look too bad, but I would love to hear any good tips on the removal/install.
I have seen a few people on here with the saleen wing swap done. I was just wondering if any new holes were required to make in the stock trunk lid? I am hoping that it bolts up to the stock holes. I don't want to make any changes non-reverseable.
Ok how do you know if you need the r12 update or if you have it already? Also is this the same update that Ford does for the reflash?
