You’re right about people that have never driven a hellcat hating and making ignorant assumptions but your math is off, as for a 3800 lbs car to match the 4400/707 car it would be around 610hp. Another thing, many think Hellcat more likely has around 730-740 based off the 1/4 and 1/2 mile mph as...
15 E63S weight is similar to a hellcat but is down 130hp.
Also not much of a race unless the Hellcat is on drag radials as it's spin city from a 40 roll on the factory tires. AWD > overpowered RWD on all-seasons...
Beyond 100mph the Hellcat would have left you no prob.
Well your opinion is wrong. Lets talk facts...
The 6 gen SS is not a 13 sec car. This is how bunk information is spread..
The stock gen6 SS manual average dynos 400/400 and weights 3675. It's solid mid 12 car. Low 12 properly driven in good air. Definitely not slow...
The A8 advantage is in...
It depends...
I'd say keep the 14'. I traded my 14GT for a 15 GT and ended up missing my 14'. The 14' was more comfortable to drive, felt more raw and quick than my 15' did. The base 15' handles like crap with the 18" all seasons even and seemingly worse than my base 14 gt even.
The 15-17 is...
Yeah I expect the 18 GT vs gen 6 SS to be a drivers race. Time will tell.
I LOVE the rev matching in my SS, it smooths the up-shifts as well. I may never buy another manual without it.
If you are seeing only a 10th difference, they cant drive, period.
Too many variables comparing 1/4mile track times. Example, we've all seen quick cars like hellcats with crappy drivers lose to slower cars at the track. Different story on the highway however..
Race a 6th gen from a roll instead...
My 15' stang gt manual power delivery from a roll feels a lot stronger/faster (sotp) gradually applying throttle than going wot. From a stop starting in first at WOT and then going through the gears continuing at WOT is fine (traction permitting). Basically if I want to feel good power or...
I thought by now I would've' seen more people running their 2015 Mustang GT's.
So far all Ive see posted on the internet are a handful of tuned and stock GT PP's, ecoboost and auto GT's running their cars.
I am especially interested in what the stock non PP base GT's are running stock as...
I went with my brother the other day as he wanted to test drive the new ecobost stang.
They had a few 15 Mustang GT's there so I decided to test drive one for shi$s and gigs. I found it so amazing, I traded my 14'auto stang GT in for one the next day!
It is a Magnetic 300A 6M with 3.55 gears.
I...

I have heard the rumors about it and there have been a few threads mentioning it but I've now seen it with my own eyes after datalogging my brothers V6 mustang! his ks pid output displayed a flatline of zero all the way across and they were commanding crazy timing on top of it...
WTF is going...
I have data logged trying many gas stations in my area and they all pretty much suck! Especially Shell.
Stock I don't knock much at all (a little false knock) but even the most conservative tune knocks for me. I am told that it's mainly the crap gas i'm using.
I ran pure Sunoco 260 100 octane...
Seems really simple just pour it in right?
The directions say to pour it in and one bottle treats 25 gallons but nothing specific...
To the people that have experience using Torco or Lucas:
Does it matter when you pour it in? Pump first then pour it in or pour octane boost first then pump...
Nothing new or exciting for you guys but thought I'd share my experience with my stock 2014 automatic 5.0 1/4 mile runs I made last night at Capital Raceway MD.
I only ran it twice and couldn't hook up for sh#t!. I ran a best of 12.8 @ 113 with a 2.2 60ft and 1/8 was a 8.4@ 89.3. The first run...
Bone stock automatic
Just for fun. No launch just ease into first to minimize wheel spin.
Flat surface btw
I'll post more after I get a tune(if I get one) done on the same road for comparison.

I'm really not enjoying the manual and how it feels. A 60mile commute mostly traffic is the biggest thing. All of the transmission horror stories are creeping me out and just recently I'm having trouble putting it in first from a stop.
I test drove an auto and loved it. It actually felt and...
I had a premium steering wheel installed at the dealer to get rid of the horrible base wheel but it isn't straight, it sits very slightly to the left. The dealer service said there is only one position for it to go in and that it's my alignment. :??:
Everything was perfect before the steering...
On the fence between upgrading to 3.73's or 4.10's.
I now have 3.31's and the car is pretty fast but just doesnt feel that fast.
The power seem to be too spread out between the 6 gears to me. 6th is useless. I think these gears zap a lot of the fun out of this car:sleeping:
I don't really...
